Looking at the numbers, this is almost certainly due financial difficulties. Youtube doesn't provide much from ads, and the Patreon generates $1,744 per month. Multiply that by 12 and divide by 4 (assuming equal distribution) and you get a yearly salary via Patrion of $5,232. If you were to work full time minimum wage, you'd make $15,080 which is about three times that. I think their downfall was trying to expand to other non-horror videos and make it all a full time job. Sure, their comedy stuff can be alright (sometimes), but let's be honest. Marble Hornets is the reason people watch(ed) them. The THAC TV channel has 40,839 subscribers, while Clear Lakes 44 | Marble Hornets has 419,772. That's more than a 10:1 ratio.

What if there was a problem between Tim and Joseph and Troy? They hadn't been in a posdcast together, and the lack of Tim/Joseph related content was strange. WOAQ and Hey Try This were most likely pre-recorded, as they have mentioned that several times.
