I keep raising this point in this sort of conversation but it really does illustrate how important it is to have a solid plan going into making such a series. I figure a lot of series ended up aimlessly spinning their wheels in search of an ending; even in cases like TT and EMH, where I am reasonably sure the creators have an ending in mind, it feels like they a) didn't really have a clear idea about how to get there and so end up caught down cul-de-sacs, b) didn't plan out the pacing well so you end up with lots of filler and repetition (how many times has TT had the exact same "freaky shit happens, people ask Noah to go get the damn journal already" video remade in a bunch of different ways?) and c) didn't have a contingency plan in mind for what to do if some person, place or prop crucial to the intended course of the series wasn't available any more.

TT I am sure will eventually wrap up because it's essentially been set up so that Adam can produce content by himself if he needs to. He's a smart enough guy that I am sure he'll eventually figure out some way to get it wrapped.

EMH I have come to the conclusion will never get an ending, or at least not one which is satisfying. They seem to be stuck in this aggravating holding pattern in the hope that whatever logistical snag is holding stuff up will eventually be resolved, despite the fact that, uh, guys, you started this when you were students and now a lot of you are graduating and stuff and going off and living your adult lives and you can't expect people's schedules to magically get *less* conflicted as that happens.

Say what you like about what became of THAC, but I think Marble Hornets stands tall as not just the first slenderseries, but also more or less the only long-running one to have something resembling an ending.

I have spoken with Adam, TT will get a definitive ending, he has reverse engineered the series to fuck, which is quite clear. His ending is already written, he just needs the time and money to get there.

EMH on the other hand is much more complicated, as it's a three man job, and I can't really give my full opinion without being burned at the stake.

EMH was probably my favorite of the series, but they just stopped putting up videos. Tribe Twelve, I think, is putting out stronger videos than MH had, but they're still too infrequent. At least MH has given a nice conclusion, though the events leading up to it was a little weak.
