Some of this is accurate, some of it is not. They do record their livestreams on ustream, and they often link to important documents in their video descriptions.

I think a big part of most people's problem is that it simply isnt as fun to experience it after the fact, due to the ARG/interactive parts of it. While MH stands stronger when you watch entire seasons in one sitting, EMH had a lot more interaction, which I feel was more enjoyable at the time, but I can see how someone starting it now would mainly just watch the videos and not get the same experience. The videos are still good though

I've never seen that last one but out of the ones I have seen the rest of the list there are the ones I didn't shake my head and stop watching.

I prefer MH to EMH just because MH seems to update more often (even if it's less per video). MH has not been silent long enough for me to forget it was still going but both EMH and T12 have.

That's not respecting of anyone else's opinion, and is kind of douchey, to be blunt. People like different things, so don't act like they should only like what you do, pravado. Your opinion is just that. An opinion. Not a statement of fact. So don't treat it like it's a statement of fact. You can state what series you like, sure, you have your right for an opinion. But don't act like everyone who doesn't share it with you is an idiot.

Sorry, this is just a pet peeve of mine. It really rubs me the wrong way when people behave like that.

Have you noticed the way it's phrased? It's in a derogatory manner for anyone who thinks different. Particularly due to the use of the slang "protip", which is USUALLY an elitist method of trying to elevate your opinion above others. I don't see how it can be interpreted in any other way.

And I think it's funny how you tell me to "stop crying" yet you're crying about marble hornets in pretty much every post and have been for months and months with no end in sight. Hypocrite much?

Then he should go off to their forums and stop preaching about how great they are in here while bitching about how he doesn't like Marble Hornets. If he doesn't like it; fine, there's a simple solution to that; don't watch it. When I view these forums it isn't to hear incessant whining everywhere. It's to connect with actual FANS. He shouldn't tell me to "stop crying" when he can't do it himself. I honestly think he's just trolling at this point.

Your whole problem boils down to the fact that Pravado's opinion offends you.

You can try to dress it up, but what you say is just not consistent. You insist that he be respectful of other peoples' opinions, but you dismiss his own views as "whining." You claim to have a problem with opinions being stated as facts, but you say, "He should stop," not "I think he should stop."

Pravado's opinion does not offend me. It's the way he sees fit to constantly preach about it in literally every post, unrelenting, neverending, and seriously, when was the last time he HASN'T bitched about how bad he thinks Marble Hornets is? Honestly, if he hates it that much, then by this point I think he *should* bugger off to the other forums. It's obvious he isn't a fan. I know my opinion is a controversial one, but this is just how I feel.

I'm sick of seeing him bitching about it in literally every thread, and I check these forums daily. It's repetitive at this point, because it's always the same damn thing, over and over. He has nothing *new* to add to his "i hate marble hornets" spiel, and at this point, is just beating a dead horse.

We know, Pravado.

You hate Marble Hornets.

If you have nothing CONSTRUCTIVE to say about it that you haven't preached about 100 times already, I believe that it's time to build a bridge, and get over it.

But would you find it so bothersome if his posts were all about how great Marble Hornets is?

Maybe you would. But I would be surprised.

Eh, for clarification's sake:

I have encountered people who are so utterly monotonous in their complaints & see everyone as a captive audience for said complaints, & those people do quite indeed piss me off. I just don't think Pravado is quite that bad.

I have encountered people who are so utterly monotonous in their complaints & see everyone as a captive audience for said complaints, & those people do quite indeed piss me off. I just don't think Pravado is quite that bad.


I know that Marble Hornets has issues right now, and that it's far from perfect. However, when such things are bought up on a constant basis with nothing new to add to the discussion, it becomes stale, and people like me get sick of seeing the constant streams of negativity. Here's the thing about hearing positive stuff all the time; It isn't as annoying as hearing negative stuff all the time.

For what it's worth, despite it's issues that Pravado /has/ rightly pointed out in threads, I still enjoy Marble Hornets. I agree with Pravado on a lot of points about MH's issues. I just think he needs to tone his rage down several notches, and perhaps slightly adjust his behaviour to be less hostile to the people who actually like the show. I know that's asking a *lot* of a person, but as someone who likes the show, I do find his posts off-putting and makes me wary of visiting these forums.

And I realise I have been rather hostile to Pravado, for which I do apologise. Dealing with some stress-ey things IRL and my behaviour has not been all that appropriate. I believe there's a way for the both of us to be civil about this. Pravado's behaviour does push a lot of buttons on my end, and it shouldn't.

FYI: I spent a little bit modifying my post after you modified yours. And yes, I think it's much less of a problem if people are happy with things than people are negative, but excessive happiness would indeed get annoying, though not as fast as negativity and beatin' dead horses.
