FYI: I spent a little bit modifying my post after you modified yours. And yes, I think it's much less of a problem if people are happy with things than people are negative, but excessive happiness would indeed get annoying, though not as fast as negativity and beatin' dead horses.

Saw it, figured my post didn't really need changed too much.

What I find annoying are things--positive, negative, or neutral--that are clearly invalid, have been pointed out as such several times, but just keep being repeated.

Like, I don't know, if someone has to keep being told that "Alex R. Kralie" is bunk, but just keeps denying it.

Krailie.
Kraley
Karlie.

How the Hell do I spell Alex's last name?

On the back of my S1 DVD: Kralie.

Alright, I'm just going to call it like I see it:

Your whole problem boils down to the fact that Pravado's opinion offends you.

You can try to dress it up, but what you say is just not consistent. You insist that he be respectful of other peoples' opinions, but you dismiss his own views as "whining." You claim to have a problem with opinions being stated as facts, but you say, "He should stop," not "I think he should stop."

Pravado's opinion does not offend me. It's the way he sees fit to constantly preach about it in literally every post, unrelenting, neverending, and seriously, when was the last time he HASN'T bitched about how bad he thinks Marble Hornets is? Honestly, if he hates it that much, then by this point I think he *should* bugger off to the other forums. It's obvious he isn't a fan. I know my opinion is a controversial one, but this is just how I feel.

I'm sick of seeing him bitching about it in literally every thread, and I check these forums daily. It's repetitive at this point, because it's always the same damn thing, over and over. He has nothing *new* to add to his "i hate marble hornets" spiel, and at this point, is just beating a dead horse.

We know, Pravado.

You hate Marble Hornets.

If you have nothing CONSTRUCTIVE to say about it that you haven't preached about 100 times already, I believe that it's time to build a bridge, and get over it.

You're new, so i'll let it slide. I've been a member of these forums long before you. Again, you believe what you want. I don't hate marble hornets. I've watched the first two seasons at least 10 times each and I think they're fantastic. You ignore what you want to, I do make positive posts when I see fit. I enjoyed entry 58 and the first few tothearks of the season and stated so in those topics.

Stop getting so offended at people's opinions and grow up. If I want to express my frustration with the season I'm going to. If I like an entry, I'm going to say so. Maybe YOU should go to the other forums if you don't want to read what I have to say. Fact of the matter is I'm not going anywhere, I'm entitled to my opinion, and you getting on my case just makes my penis harder. This is how the world works, people are going to have different opinions than you. In the time it takes you to type paragraphs about how you're sick of my bitching, you could make your own slender series. Learn to skip right past my posts. Your constant bitching about my bitching is ironic to say the least. There have been many before you who share the same stance on me, and they've learned to get past it and co-post in peace, so here's to hoping you can too.

I already said I wasn't offended at your opinion, and I even said you had *valid* points about MH's directional issues. Did you even read my posts? I'm asking you to tone it down a couple notches with the streams of rage I see from you. There comes a point where the frustration becomes stale, and I'm pretty much *expecting* it from you every time I see your name on a post. Isn't it a little excessive?

And yes, I'm new, but I'm new enough to know that this has been going on for a long while, and it's a tiring thing to see, especially when there's not really much else you can say about how much you dislike MH's current direction. I get that you think of yourself as a fan, but the stuff I've seen you write hasn't been respectful of Trosephim at all.

I guess the root of this issue I have with you is that I know Trosephim has been trying their hardest to get these entires out, and I really respect their work. To trash it as carelessly as saying it's not even worth watching and even go so far as to insult them by saying Marble Hornets is the only worthwile thing they'll ever create really coloured my opinion of you... Yes, you are entitled to your opinion, but I'm also entitled to my opinion of finding that a bit repulsive.

...And seriously. "In the time you spent raging here you could have made your own slender series"! ...Do you know how much work goes into these kinda things? ...I do animation as a hobby, and it's hard enough getting stuff out that way. I've had experience with film stuff and even took a class in it, it's really not as easy as you seem to think it is. There's a lot of work, care, and love that goes into these things. I've been in talks with a friend of mine the past few weeks of starting a non-slendy based ARG with him, and it's hard to get it off of the ground. It *really* isn't as simple as you think it is. There are a lot of issues with these things that go on behind the scenes that I don't think you seem to comprehend, but I could be wrong. Perhaps I'm overreacting a little, but I am getting frustrated over the general attitude you've presented. We should take this to PM's. I don't want to clog up the topic with these posts anymore. If you want to respond to me, do it in PM.

I have no response. I've said all I had to say. I'm going to keep posting my feelings on the series and the creators and that's that.

I'm somewhat inspired by the fact that everyone acts annoyed by Pravado, yet when someone attacks him, everyone rushes to his defense. You don't see that a lot online.

To play the devil's advocate, this is what happens with me too, pravado. I'm just expecting you to "bitch" about Marble Hornets so I just don't read anything coming from you. And, to see it from another point of view, that's not a good thing, since, as adaminator says, you do make valid points...

I'm a cinema student and I've been writing an ARG for over a year and a half, and it's still not finished. It's true it is way, way diferent from Marble Hornets, but I gotta tell you, you do strike me as a total ignorant film-wise when you say that kind of things, because I do know how much effort it takes to do anything related to filmmaking. It's OK, you can be wrong; you are a law student, if I recall, but still. Stanley Kubrick himself said that the thing he liked the most of filmmaking was the script-writing phase, obviously refering to all the running and complications and stress that is the shooting and post-production. So please, do not say things that sound like you are complaining about Trosephim "not caring enough". It makes you look ignorant, borderline stupid. Do it for the sake of your image, if you like. But you have to stop that, please.

@Pravado:
It's been mentioned many times, but it's not necessarily your opinions that people object to, but the manner and tone in which you choose to voice them.

@SeantheStone:
Blatant insulting or flaming/flamebaiting a member of the board is against the community policy here. We may not always like what people say, but we must be civil about it.

@Zarggg:
I can't tell if my point appeared to be sarcasm or if you were explaining it to me, but if it was unclear, I was being genuine. This board protects its own, and that's definitely a strong point. I wasn't insulting anyone.

Many of us are annoyed by his posts. The truth is though that while I may not agree with your message, I'll fight for your right to share it anyway. Most others here would too.

I think Zarggg was just elaborating on your point. That's my guess, at least. But yeah, there's not a fine line between "I disagree with you" and "GET OFF MY PHONE FORUM!". Most people recognize that.

I think you quoted my post on accident mistaking it for Pravado's. I'm not Pravado. XD

And while the fighting happened.

Troy and Tim found a DIY Bedroom Bondage Kit at the Park.

And isn't that what's most important?

Note: I'd post the link, but Twitter seems to be over capacity due to the debates.

Timman rises. A small part of me hopes that's a screenshot from the next entry.
