This series went from interesting to rape porn. Bring back slendy and girl running (in a non-porn way I.E. tentacles) and maybe I'll watch again. This series is just a boring sex tape now.

I'm cool with this video. I saw the video, I liked it. maybe youtube wouldn't like it, but I'm disappointed it was flagged. Sad

Frankly some of the best horror movies have nudity. I'm not opposed to seeing a naked or half naked woman, personally.

I'm not sure what the rape stuff has to do with slenderman, but thats ok, maybe it has nothing to do with him at all, maybe she is getting to the slenderman stuff later? O.P. probably should "tone it down" (at least on youtube) or send a link to the video through the youtube. I want to see more of this series and don't want to see it ended. I'm curious as to where this series is going. Its definitely different than the traditional angsty teenage boys, I get bored of the sausage fest and want to see more women in the vlogs.

I'm going to put my opinion on the series out here plain and simple, feel free to dispute it for discussions sake if you like.

I'm sure the creators have put a good deal of hard work behind this all, and had good intentions for this, and I appreciate that, but it has been poorly executed and poorly thought through. I watched through the main channel and side channels to make sure I wasn't forming a biased or lopsided opinion, I wanted to be fair.

In truth this hardly feels like a Slenderman story to me at all. It had its moments where it was 'scary' but in all seriousness this series felt so misguided and lost with ought much direction at all, not to mention it seemed terribly rushed.

The acting is sub par in this series at best. I feel myself cringing in so many instances because I feel awkward/embarrassed watching such forced and mechanic acting. It's hard for me to immerse myself in something when it hardly seems believable. I believe a lot of people rush to get these series out and running and don't take the time to re-shoot or improve the quality of what they're doing. That being said, props to anyone who can step in front of a camera and try, there is bravery in that and that is extremely commendable.

The nudity/rape. I don't like it, and before you start screaming about people being prudes and how it's closed minded, hear me out on this. Yes, there is a lot of nudity and sexuality in quite a number of horror films these day, but I think it's ENTIRELY unnecessary. I have nothing against nudity in the slightest, but I find it so irrelevant to the plot. I find nudity in any paranormal horror film irrelevant, it doesn't progress the plot in any manner and certainly doesn't scare me. the creators may have been trying to add an element of realism and rawness to this, but in all honesty I find it crude and pointless, it contributes nothing to the slenderman mythology.

Which brings me to the final point that I want to talk about, which is the plot. It's transparent, watery, and in my opinion dull. There isn't much intricacy to this, the plot seems rushed as if the creators were just working to pump out a story as quickly as they possibly could. Like I said, i'm sure they had good intentions, but this story just holds no substance and it loses me very quickly. Frankly it's disappointing.

All of this aside, it's always impressive that people try, and go through the hard work to put out these stories to entertain the audience, it is a quality that not many posses. I say these things, not out of spite or anger, but more so as a critique, and hopefully everyone sees this as such.
