I know we gotta move on this thing, but for those of us who are not going on the mission, has anyone been able to crack that rar file? I'm sure the file in there is really important to this whole thing. Maybe even to the current mission.

And the password we had to figure out from the first Clavis file. Either we need to reconsider our solution to it and see if we can get it to crack the rar, or hope it's the password for something at Blooming Grove. But if it's neither of those, then we gotta figure out what the heck it's to.

I feel like after we got stuck trying to force the password into the rar, we all just gave up on it in favor of finding out where Andrea is. But it's entirely possible that we could be walking into a trap or at least going in blind, when cracking this code could help us in getting Andrea out of there.

I am truly lost as to how we are supposed to crack the password for the .rar file. I have been wracking my brains to figure out how to crack it myself and am coming up dry. I feel sooooo bad right now because I think that there is a MAJOR clue in this file in the .wmv file that is there. We have the following so far.

From MM

A drive with the word "memory" on it that holds the .rar file

From MissAnna

Password Hint: s@>:?FD^7@CEF?26^>626^DF>
Password: ----------/---/------/----

which we assume has to be the password for above said .rar file

which lead us to "I am the captain of my soul" which is a quote from William Ernest Henley's Invictus.

It has also led to get some latin translations which RandomGuy26 tried what seems like 50 ways to Sunday, none of which worked.

So we are in a bind. I have a feeling that in that file is the final clue we need, and short of brute-forcing the file without corrupting the file, I feel we are stuck. Is ANYBODY having ANY luck at all with the file. Andrea has only 5 day's left until she is COMPLETELY out of water and likely to die. I feel desperation setting in.

I tried putting in several combos, and the recurring word was MASTER (in all uppercase).

When I put in lowercase master, didn't seem to work.

What I mean is, is that sometimes WinRAR just flatout denies it when the letters are lowercase, but when I entered MASTER(and some other words) in uppercase, the program would decrypt the file up to a certain percentage and
then abruptly say that it was the incorrect password.

Maybe I'm a hack, maybe not. All that I know is that I really want to save her before time runs out.

I've tried "Dominus/fortunae/meae/su"(sic), I've tried "MASTER of soul", "You are the MASTER of my fate" and so on. The former has gotten me the farthest, to the point where only a few tweaks should make it work. It's frustrating.
