FindtheRoom is doomed

My camera broke about a week ago, which has delayed production.

I stayed up all night to go get a new one on the cheap at Best Buy. I couldn't decide on a camera in my price range and was about to leave when Jacob's mom offered to pay half as my "Christmas present". I was super reluctant but finally caved because I needed it and gave her half, about $150.

I was excited to come home and test out the video and picture taking capabilities with Dahlia. Then she says something about wrapping it for Christmas.

I said I wanted to take it out and take some video of Dahlia at the breakfast table and use it. She said, "You can at Christmas."

What the hell. This wasn't part of the deal. I stayed up and went out so I could use it immediately, not wait a goddamn month for it.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate it and its a beautiful new camera, but who honestly thinks like that? That I would intentionally stay up to get something I've been talking for weeks about just to wait a month to use?

I mentioned that I was irritated about this situation to Jacob and he went off on me abut how ungrateful I am and how rude I am to his parents for throwing their kindness back in their faces.

I didn't realize we were in bizzaro world.

Because of this, I am genuinely considering giving up on the FindtheRoom, as much as it would pain me to do so. The plans I made for the story and plot progression were on schedule so far, but because of this it would cease to make sense in terms of the timeline and ruin all the work I've put into it.

So.

That's that.



Soooo....yeah. Kinda sucks. Sad

 		I would like to find out what the ending she planned was. I agree with the delay currently (10 days since MM did his last thing.) it is impossible to complete the original story - but I would still want to find out what the plan was - same with the end of TJA. it is always good to know what was going to happen.

Um, Tattie's friends are kinda jerks. They know she's been making a youtube series, that she wants to go well. And it should not be a gift because Tattie payed for half. I probably just sound like a pissed of fan, but as vlog maker, I myself would be furious if this happened to me, and I'm sure a good many of the other creators can agree with me on this.

 		Um what, I got the impression Tati was kinda pissed she had to drop the project, because her friends parents aren't letting her use the camera she paid half for. I'm not getting on Tati's case at all. If she had said," I have to drop the project because my life is really messed up right now." I would not be complaining. But that's not the situation is it.

Who thinks like that? Parents do.

Last time I checked, though, TJ was an adult and can make negotiated deals with other adults as an equal. TJ is not this woman's child, nor is she a child. If the woman wanted to put conditions upon the loan/gift she was offering another adult, it should have been explicitly established before it was accepted.

IMO, Tati should open the damned gift, tell Jacob's mom the $150 is a loan and pay her back before Christmas/end of year/something fair. Not fair? Changing the terms of the agreement? Tough shit, (ex-)Mom-in-law, Turnabout it fair play.

Damage is done, though. No further FTR for us. Sad

I was genuinely happy to hear that she was ready to get through all of her problems in life to give us quality work. I was not implying that Tati herself chose to end the series (and Jake and his mom's actions were unacceptable), I was just really annoyed that another thing was happening to fuck with her.
