12th has provided a possible route for us in revealing info to Andrea. Question is do we nominate someone to take the lead in revealing the info to Andrea (looking at you 12th being as you came up with a relative plausible idea and could keep things on an even keel) or do we do it individually? IMHO, organization is better because than we can somewhat control the flow of information to Andrea without breaking her.

Unus (3) decoded:
I remember vaguely what it was like to be in the aries. I was so depressed. The lack of friends and family caused such a terrible depression that I failed two classes that semester. I was always an extrovert, but you gradually become accustomed to it. However incineration is worse. There is no amount of preparation you can do for it. That you will become accustomed to as well. Vis had her final surgery today and it will be interesting to see her when the bandages come off. Her real face was never known to us, but the new one has been years in the making. Prospects have been chosen, but even the Magister is uncertain of who shall be who. I like to call the Siorai's pet Nona, but do not say that in front of him. He will be offended. Even he is aware of Nona's downward spiral. It is why the Magister and the Siorai are tense around each other. This Siorai is rude. His muinteoir was far more willing to work with us as has been the tradition.

A couple of new words in here. (1) aries - hmmm, a zodiac sign for the Ram. Couldn't find another definition that fits the sentence structure. Confused on this one. (2) muinteoir - (another Celtic term) teacher. Makes sense here, sorta. I have a problem with the sentence it is though. Translated it says "His teacher was far more willing to work with us as has been the tradition". Why would Slendy need a teacher? Unless the Teacher is a rank in Slendy's group vs. the Magister's group. Obviously I am still a bit confused as to who the Magister and Siorai are but I think, for now, I will stick with my previous theory (i.e. Siorai = Slenderman, Magister = powerful proxy). Nona, the Siorai's pet (and who I am considering to be possibly Sight) is a latin version of 9. We also find out that Vis Vires has been around for a while and has had her face changed. Interesting.

The Ordine doesn't play nice.

I'll betcha Torqueo is the one that nominated Servus for re-incineration. Wouldn't put it past Torq at all. Kissing his bosses butt. And of course it makes sense that the Ordine doesn't play nice. What group of proxies ever does?

Quick diagram, trying to make sense out of this....

Siorai (Slendy?)

V
Magister (Preceded by "Teacher"?)

Custos (Servus & Torqueo)
/ | \
V V V

Minions
(Vis Vires + 6 others, possibly 5 others since Medici is reported as dead)

Prospects (Unus to pre-duodecim)

Unsorted:
"Nona" (pet)?? // Sight ???

I can take this on, but I need to know where we're going to distribute the information. Google+ or YouTube or the blogspot? I'm guessing the blogspot initially. Funny how I have a handle which might be reasonable for this element of the game...

Wait a second... I thought that the Siorai had already been referred to as a doctor, which fits more with Wilbur. He's immortal because his role is passed on from teacher to apprentice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do vaguely remember that.

EDIT: "Do not kill the Siorai, his apprentice will replace him." "[The Siorai's] blood is poison." "If I were an abomination like the Siorai doctor..." It seems I am correct.

Also, by my thinking, the muinteoir is just the last guy-who-was-Wilbur.

I just realized something, so I am going to repost from my post on 1/19/12.

Decode:

Murder did his job and I took care of him. Andrea has few recollections of those days thanks to her fading anterograde amnesia. However, we have a big problem. She has my bag. I left it in the room. It contained a camera and a laptop, and that is of little concern. My journal was there. Most of it is no legible to her, but if any of let her know about this code then it is all over. The Ordine tells us not to keep written records of our journeys. The Master was right, kindness would be my downfall. Just keep an eye on her. I will too. If she mentions the journal, do not translate it for her. Any attempts to protect her will be wasted.
--Servus

Technically according to Servus we are not supposed to translate it for her. We have translated it here though. I.e. , though we have already translated the entries so far Servus would prefer that we not give Andrea the information we get. My suggestion 12th is that, as you said, we string Andrea along concerning the translation. We are going to have to keep this up for some time though. The information IS, if you think about it, explosive. Firstly, it jeopardizes Servus who is protecting Andrea atm. Secondly, it is just gonna make Andrea more curious about her situation. Tread carefully.

We also are going to have to be prepared if she starts making attempts on her own to translate.

You are correct Val. Magister is Slendy, The Siorai is Wilbur (The Plague Doctor).

New video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o4XLxj2tT0Q&feature=g-u-u&context=G24d3eabFUAAAAAAAAAA
She found the Memory.rar hidden in her laptop (there's a link in the description).
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you watched the video, the password is "memoriam". The file consists of a montage of Dahlia footage accompanied by Voltaire's "Goodnight, Demon Slayer."

So that's why we aren't supposed to show it to her. What should we tell her? I didn't see anything hidden in it, but might have to check later.

Well, I have not checked it yet but one ethical issue I have with not telling her about her past is, that in not knowing who she is, we are ruining her life. I understand reasons not to tell her, but its a little painful not telling her. I'm not saying what we are doing is wrong, but its an ethical grey area.

P.S Why is the Facebook parenting video in the related video section.

How the HELL did we not get THAT simple of a password. Show's we definitely over-thought earlier. Oh well.... hindsight is alway's 20/20. Nice to finally view the video though. And guys.... WE MAKE NO REFERENCE TO THE MEMORY FILE AT ALL!! With Dahlia being in it that is SURE to bring back her memories. I'd hate to say it but I am sorta glad that the file is crashing her computer atm. In fact I am gonna put up a not that the file crashed my computer as well (we all know it doesn't) although a virus scan didn't pick it up as a virus. Gonna recommend that she delete the Memory file.

Angry, what you say is true. The choice we have is A) do we keep things from her and let her blissfully live her new life or B) tell her what we know and have her possibly lose her marbles? It is a grey area we are wandering into and we, in a way, control the outcome.

Grey area sounds right, I suppose. As much as I want to help her out, we have been repeatedly hammered with the fact that she will die if she remembers her past. She's safe right now.
Both in-game and story-wise I doubt she will be able to hide from this forever. Slender Man or her past is likely to catch up with her at some point. If it reaches the point where she needs to know for her safety, it should remain an option, but I'd say we wait until we absolutely need to.

Seems like she might be determined to get the file open if she thinks it has something to do with her. Guess we could continue to tell her it's hopeless, or distract her with an unrelated file. (She's using WinRAR because she mentioned the stack of books icon. I think you can't see inside a protected folder in WinRAR .)

On the password: I facepalmed a little. I know people tried other translations of the word ("memoria"), I guess we just missed the one that counted. And that Invictus quote just created more confusion than help.

Andrea replied to me post about the file crashing my computer and the fact that I thought it had a virus. She had to go find out what a virus was and the fact that it was bad. She wants to see the file because she thinks there is info about her past in it. (UMMMM YEAH!!!). I told her that to be safe she should remove the file from her computer being as she has a copy on the internet now and that I would have some "friends" (Hi friends!!) look into trying to get it open safely and get her a safe copy. I can string this one along for a little while. Thoughts guys and gals?

Keep her away from file as long as possible. It's the time to give her translation of the first journal page. We need to divert (is this a right word?) her attention from the video file.

she could totally see the file name in winrar. I use winrar, and I can see it. It definitely says, "deleteuponviewingshecannevergoback.wmv" This could be a problem.

And on the password, wow. What the heck was that password clue for then?

Is there some way we can construct a fake video file with the same title and extension that we can hand her and tell her is our "safely extracted" copy? What if we use some pretext like, it's a video her friends made for her birthday. Then we get a bunch of video footage of her "friends" wishing Andrea Shepard a happy birthday, and mentioning some fake things they did together. Then she can feel satisfied that she got some "memories" from her past, but we won't actually be telling her anything dangerous.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
PS Dahlia is freaking adorable!

As for my thoughts on the Servus entries:

Quote:
Wait a second... I thought that the Siorai had already been referred to as a doctor, which fits more with Wilbur. He's immortal because his role is passed on from teacher to apprentice. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I do vaguely remember that.

EDIT: "Do not kill the Siorai, his apprentice will replace him." "[The Siorai's] blood is poison." "If I were an abomination like the Siorai doctor..." It seems I am correct.

Also, by my thinking, the muinteoir is just the last guy-who-was-Wilbur.

I agree wholeheartedly with this interpretation. It also fits in with Nona being Sight. The way Wilbur seemed to act like Sight's guardian/disciplinarian much of the time seems like it's very consistent with the role Siorai would be playing towards Nona.

Quote:
The Siorai and our god haven't always been allies, but the Magister insists we respect his wishes.

The way I read #2, I got the impression that the "god" they were talking about was neither Siorai nor Magister. I believe Slendy is indeed their god, but I don't think he's Magister or Siorai. I think both of them are some variety of proxy.

Quote:
I am wondering if Vis Vires is Andrea or maybe even Amy reincarnated due to this statement "She is unstable. The amount of reconstruction she has gone through for her final trial has broken her mind. She is worrisome and might break under the right conditions." We see in this statement that Vis' mind has gone through reconstruction and been broken and Servus' worries that she "might break under the right conditions".

I liked the reading that Vis might be Amy up until the explanations of the incinerations.

Quote:
Vis had her final surgery today and it will be interesting to see her when the bandages come off. Her real face was never known to us, but the new one has been years in the making.

Now I think we haven't met Vis at all yet. It basically sounds like to be incinerated means getting a whole new face. Like, drastic plastic surgery. Amy never had that during the time frame these entries would have been taking place.

Quote:
Medice died and the Magister is working on a prospect.

Given Andrea's medical background, could she be who he's after? Is she already going through the trails, or whatever, towards gaining a rank? If so, what number is she on?[/quote]

That's a actually a great idea, but the birthday idea sounds terrible tho. We could make a video apologizing for a embarrassing accident to explain the "shecannevergoback" part. I'll just make up something like I threw her a terrible birthday and if she remembers she'll kill me or something. I'll record the video and post it on mediafire if anyone wants to upload it to their YouTube channel.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I can't use my own account on YouTube becuz that'll be too risky.
