How did you get into Marble Hornets? I was searching scary stories and junk when I stumbled upon creepypasta. From there I learned about slenderman which led me to the knowyourmeme database entry on slenderman. The article mentioned Marble Hornets and I gave it look see. Now I'm addicted.
Favorite books/movies/games etc? Books: Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, anything involving horror, math, and or music.
Movies: Horror. All of it. But if I had to pick some favorites it would have to be Dawn of the Dead, The Crazies, The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity 1 and 3 (2nd one sucked), Rec/Quarantine, The Strangers, The Poughkeepsie Tapes, Cube, Cube Zero (WTF cube 2. seriously wtf), and Cloverfield.
Music: Anything that falls under the electonic genre. Specifically hardstyle, jumpstyle, happy hardcore, dubstep.
Played any other ARGs? Which? I tipped my toes into the Cloverfield one but thats about it.

So, what do you like to be called? MarbleArk, MA or Ally.
How did you get into Marble Hornets? Someone I knew on YT made a 'parody' of totheark, and I thought they were really getting hacked. They sent me a link to MarbleHornets and I started loving it. I think I started at entry 23 or 24. So, I was really close to the 7 month gap.
Favorite books/movies/games etc? Eh. I'm picky. I have no favourite genre or anything. But, when it comes to games, I like things that have good control and good combat methods.
Played any other ARGs? Which? Hmm. Well, I've tried heaps of ARGS in the past, but most were crappy ones. My favourites include, TribeTwelve EverymanHYBRID, TJAProjects (Before the whole dog fiasco) And most recently BlameTruth. (Does that count as an ARG?)

I.. don't really remember, to be honest. Pretty sure someone referenced it on /x/ ages ago. One day I had nothing to do in class, so I decided to pick it it up. It turned out to be a bad idea since I'm really jumpy at loud noises...

Uhm. No idea, really. I read a lot of horror and mystery fiction, but I don't really have a favorite.

How did you get into Marble Hornets?

Sequence of events: a friend sends me Ted's Caving Page and then makes me summarize it for her because she was too lazy to read the whole thing. It's the first time I've been scared that much about something on the Internet. She then tells me about some crazy thing called "Marble Hornets" that'll make me shit my pants. I look it up on TV Tropes and find out about the Slender Man. Obsession ensues.

Favorite books/movies/games etc?

95% of my reading is music criticism/history junk, but I do like Vonnegut and Joyce in terms of fiction. House of Leaves is the most recent (in terms of its publication, not when I read it) fictional book I've enjoyed.

Movies? Since I got into the whole Slender Man thing, I've started to lose my ability to suspend my disbelief for traditional movies. Most of the time, I can't even enjoy even really good movies because it's actors, acting. I know that's really shallow, but I can't help it. I've been watching and liking a lot of non-slendy found footage horror stuff. I watched some of the Poughkeepsie Tapes last night, but I stopped when the special effects (dead bodies obviously being plastic models) got annoying.

I suck ass at video games, except for Tetris. So I get really self-conscious and embarrassed about them and I can't ever really get myself to play.

MUSIC YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! Music is my lifeblood. I couldn't list everything, so I'll put my MP3 player on shuffle and type up the first 5 songs that I love.

I'm currently watching (besides MH, of course): TribeTwelve and MLAndersen0. I'm trying to get into EverymanHYBRID and Angel's Game/APCollection. I gave up on DarkHarvest and MyDarkJournal because they both annoyed me.

I lurk on pretty much every thread here and the Slender Man Mythos, even if I'm not watching/playing. I'm going to try to start up my own Slendervlog thing by the end of the year. I already have the whole plot written, I just need to film the thing. My main objective in it is to prove that teenagers can make things that are actually good, damn it!

Weird enough as it is though, because I follow a lot of the threads pretty closely, I feel like I know a number of you pretty well (creeper alert >_>). Soooo hi!

How did you get into Marble Hornets?
I went to a bonfire with a bunch of my friends from back home, who were doing some preliminary filming for the Slender Man series they were planning on starting. They tried to explain the whole Marble Hornets thing to me, but I was too creeped out by the fact that there was someone dressed up as Slendy standing out in the field to really pay much attention and freak myself out more. Unfortunately, the first "Slender Man" video my friends ever showed me was the $20 dollars video. Eventually I went back and got hooked on all of MH.


Favorite books/movies/games etc?
I love poetry, particularly Beat poetry - Allen Ginsburg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, etc., as well as sci-fi/fantasy - the Thrawn Triology, Ender's Game, Dune, Hitch Hiker's Guide, Piers Anthony, and then anything on Cold War era history. Love history. I'm normally not patient enough for movies, but love Dogma and Stranger than Fiction. POKEMON is about all I have the reflexes for.

Played any other ARGs? Which? Not really, I'm terrible at codes. I do watch MH, MLA, PRifREAL, and a few others, and am reading a handful of blogs (I miss Introvered Bird D

How did you get into Marble Hornets? Den of Geek ran an article on the best found footage films and someone mentionced Marble Hornets in the comments below. Checked it out - and pretty much watched the whole series in one sitting. Brilliant, completly brilliant and then there was the three week wait for Entry #50! (I really don't mind the wait though, given it's a miracle the series is even made in the first place)
Favorite books/movies/games etc? And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie (best creepy thriller novel ever), The Blair Witch Project, Paranormal Activity (the first one) (I've enjoyed the sequels, but I really wish they'd left it alone as it was), Doctor Who (been a huge fan since I was five when they did all the reruns), Firefly, Buffy and United States of Tara.

I love thrillers in both books and movies.
In books, I love practically everything by Edgar Allan Poe and Lovecraft, amongst many others.
Movies: Scott Pilgrim vs The World, The Blair Witch Project (probably my first handicam horror experience), The Dark Knight, Alien, Jurassic Park, Casino Royale... I can´t really list all of them, I love cinema.
Games: Gears of War 3 (most reacent game I´ve got, and pretty amazing), Call of Duty, Pokemon, Advance Wars, Metroid... I dunno, I play it all.
EXTRA: I absolutely LOVE The Walking Dead series.

Not really, MH was my first, after all this time. I also watched EVERYMANHybrid, but to be honest I could barely keep up with it (college and tons of extra "secrets" aren´t a good combination). I also watched TribeTwelve, but didn´t liked it as much. And, I think it was "Dreams of Darkness", another Slendy ARG. But I just read through it, I got there by the time it was over.
