Good thinking Amandel, it looks like it would fit there too.

Could returning to the Water be something to do with growing humans in a lab - some cloning perhaps? Certainly Milo's comments suggest he's died and been reborn from the Water a number of times. Also, the audio file which could quite possibly be from the Water given it's name, sounds very much like a heartbeat (the "circulatory action" bit in the tag backs this up I guess). Or perhaps it's more sinister, as Grimm7756 speculated, and the dead bodies the Gardeners pick up are brought to the Water to be used as hosts for...well, whatever is down there. Shocked

I've been lurking on this one for a while, and I want to offer a theory. Is it possible that Milo's "Her" and Reificant's Queen are opposing forces in some kind of war? The Queen is described as dead in an early tweet, but then seems to be living more recently, when Reificant had to answer the treason with violence. Perhaps the water that brings people back to life (?) created both the mother and the queen, who now hate each other??

I'm a fan of wild mass guessing.

Hiya. I don't think anyone's brought this up before, I looked through the thread, and I just wanted to mention: n0w1kn0w is following reificant on twitter. Is that maybe a sign the two things are related?

Boy, Zack Parsons sure lives his 'alternate history' and 'humans becoming something else' themes... Read Instruction for a Help and That Insidious Beast, and those seem to be recurring themes at least among this and those two.

This looks interesting, but I'm afraid I don't have much to offer on it, but I will likely be following along at least.

So now we have at least three factions, the Bishop group, the Gardeners and Reificant.
Each value The Pit for different reasons either financially or spiritually.

I've designed many website and have used both dedicated and shared hosting. I've never had a site default to the cgi-bin directory.

Regardless, that point it moot. What I was addressing was the fact that they left it like that.

EDIT:

Seems the PM's are quick! Changed to a "under construction" image.
