Oh, I'm sure he moves. We just don't see it; after all, the camera stalls every time he comes around.

Plus, we get to see him walk in Return. :O My question is, what kind of camera was Totheark using that didn't get distorted when Slendy was like...right there?

He doesn't teleport, he just walks at insane speeds.

But really, Unfiction has to have a theory about the lack of static in Return, right?
Or how about how Hoodie summoned the Operator there in the first place and knew it wouldn't kill them all?
...Was it Tim in a TO costume IG? Surprised

Yeah, but that's just like, you're opinion, man.

Sike, I think he really does telaport, though. I specifically recall Troy using the word "telaport" in the season two commentary, talking about Entry #51.

They probably hoaxed it, unless the mostly discarded theory that they're actually working with the Operator (or WERE working with the Operator, at least) is correct after all.

Also, and in good memory of the height discussion, Tim is about six inches too short to even coming close to pulling off the Operator. Unless he was on stilts, which I doubt for some reason.
Very Happy

And then there's that video on YouTube of a friend visiting Troy and Joseph's house, and they're showing him how to use stilts.

oh found it:

He could even be behind you. Right now.

Good luck sleeping.
No he couldn't, so nyah. I've got my back to a wall. So there.

Just like ...

Alex at the end of #54.

Oh, fuck you.

The sickness. So creepy. If you know that the Operator makes people sick and someone coughs it can fill you with horror. It has psychological side effects too, right? Didn't Jay forget to eat early on, and report that Alex looked thin when he saw him? The blood means that the sickness is actually killing them. Every time I read a tweet about Jay feeling ill I wince a little. And if someone doesn't know about slendersickness then that just makes it even worse. They'd get sick and paranoid and die without ever knowing why. Even without scary stalker faceless guy it's a terrifying thought. Everything about the sickness is creepy.

Doesn't matter. We've already established he could also be RIGHT IN FRONT OF US.

I want my mommy.

Or at our windows. Honestly, that's one of the scariest things about him -- he could stand on the ground and stare in through my second floor window, like, NO problem.

Most of the creepiest qualities have already been touched on, but I'd have to add that the way he moves in Entry 14 is absolutely terrifying. He manages to simultaneously be both predatory and nonchalant. Like somebody crossbred an Observer with a raptor (with a bit of squid thrown in, what with the creepy tentacle arm and all.)

OMG we now know what The Operator is! He's a Slenderman/Raptor hybrid!

Clearly Venture Industries must be involved.

I had my friend get started on watching this series two days ago, and yesterday I received a text from her that said, "I thought I saw Slenderman, and it was just a really long coat. I'M NOT PARANOID, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT."

Apparently, she doesn't like how easy he is to mistake for everything but himself.

When I was an undergrad there was an amateur service where you could pay to "reap" someone. An actor (ie bored student) would dress up as death and follow your friend around all day, never saying a word, never explaining what they were doing, and the person being stalked had no idea what was going on. It was usually pulled as a birthday prank, and all their friends would "refuse" to believe the stalkee when they talked about being followed by death.

Substitute slendy for death. Let the mayhem commence!

Eh, the lack of a face isn't all that creepy to me anymore... I think it's just the fact that

From watching several series(but my fave being MH) it seems interesting that he seems to bring out the fear and negative emotions in people
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
like when Jessica starts getting scared when talking about losing time and freaky dreams
. I think that's scary too, especially when you're already being stalked by him and you don't know why, so emotions are already high, but if he amps up and feeds on the fear and anger, he shows up everytime you're scared or can even cause acts of anger.
