Everyone is talking about Jay "lunging" at The Operator. To me it seemed more like he was being sucked towards him (reminiscent of when Alex was drawn towards him in the woods).

Lots of other people have said that he was "sucked in" as well. I'm in the "Badass Lunging Jay" camp because a badass Jay is an awesome Jay. I think Jay attempting to tackle the Operator is more likely than being sucked in, considering how pissed he sounded when he saw the Operator: "What do you want?! Leave us alone!"

Did anyone also notice that Jay didn't take off his shoes when he went to bed?

Surely he must've been zonked out after all that happened, so he went to bed right away. He was already looking exhausted at the beginning of the entry.

It's kind of sad, when you think about it. If you're a fan of the Jay and Jessica story arc, at least.

After Jay's major act or heroism the two seemingly become so close and relying so much on each other; kind of like their worlds have been flipped upside down but at least they aren't alone anymore. Then they wake up the next morning and don't remember anything about one another.

Only to start naturally becoming close once again, just to be split apart a second time.

It's like in a weird way, they're naturally destined to gravitate to and be with and helping eachother, but it never works out like that in the end. I can't wait to see how that plot continues to unfold.

Whenever Jay gets close to being truly happy, shit hits the fan.

Jessica was doing everything she could to kill the atmosphere of this entry. First line is a blatant innuendo ("How far in is it?") and then when she hurriedly pulls out of the Rossword parking lot with the roar of that hybrid engine.

That is actually really depressing. Wow. We had kind of a discussion about it on the synchtube the other night, but nobody brought up specific entries (and I think we were mostly joking about fruit baskets or something) so it's depressing to have it put like that. ALEXGORDAN, that was quite poetic. *finger snaps*

I think Alex's status as Tragic Hero makes his life crappy too (statin' the obvious herp derp)...not that I feel as bad for him as I would've a few entries ago, but it's still kinda sad to see his transformation from early entries, like 20, to well...now. I mean, what the hell happened to him that made him be like that, besides what we already know? Geez...

I figure she didn't say anything because he was obviously going after Alex. But damn, when Tim leaned out from behind that wall, I was still creeped out, even though I already assumed he was there to help. Makes me wonder what was up with #33. Was Tim trying to hurt them because he was pissed that they left him behind, or was he trying to forcefully take them somewhere safe.

Or perhaps he knew that Jay would not count 'Masky' as a friend and it would be the easiest way to get J&J the hell out of Dodge. If he showed up as Tim or acted friendly there's a chance Jay would stop to ask questions while either Alex or T.O. showed up for the kill. Even if he didn't know where Jay fled too, perhaps he'd count on Jay's ninja skills sucking and being easily able to trace him when he needed to.

My current theory is Jessica will be revealed to be Slendernapped and like Amy isn't going to be seen in the flesh so to speak again; perhaps Tim was too late (perhaps fighting off Alex once again, if the pronounced limp in the hotel wasn't caused by his brawl in #52).

Considering how much a fail ninja Jay is, I wonder if Tim didn't delibertly show himself. Tim has shown that he can follow Jay easily, and TTA did say something to the effect of 'sit back and wait, I will find you.'

Tim and Masky. Walking down a street in opposite directions. Tim by day. Masky by night. They truly are two sides of the same coin.

My God, I never noticed.

He's Batman.

Yeah, Marble Hornets is a depressing story in general.

Over the 7 months, Jay did many things that made us proud, including achieving better ninja skills, taking a knife with him, getting smarter and braver, and finally getting a girl. But when Jay finally got mindwiped, he lost all of that development and went back to being the same derpy detective that he was in Season 1. It's sad to think about, really. Let's hope he has learned from what he did during the seven months and puts his skills back to work in Season 3.

We'll remember you, Seven-Months-Jay. Your final tackle will forever live on in our hearts...

It's also sad to think that what the camera you're carrying sees or hears may be your only memory of the moment. That's why some of the Slendytraps that Jay got stuck in depressed me a little, like the Basement of Doom in Entry #23.

Did you watch the same Entry #52 the rest of us did? I'm referencing Jay's indication that Tim is acting "normal" when we see him. Jay's own words.

Oh, in those terms, yes. I thought you meant over the course of the series in general.

I'm not so sure she was upstairs with them. She could have just NOT seen Masky til he was attacking Alex. And then, seeing jay run, just chase after him.

I think this is part of the reason why I'm such a huge fan of the tackle/Oppy versus vacuum/Oppy theory (other than it looking like it). It's like the pièce de résistance of his character development - the culmination, if you will. It's the final thread of his transformation from naïvety and derpiness to a fully-functional human being.

Okay now for the sacrasm review beware people.

Let me sit in the car and brood for two minutes emo guy.
Finally Toucan Jessica is here following Alex fruit loops.
Papa Alex smurf are we there yet note Alex blue hoodie.

Jessica: I hear someone follow us.
Bit later Jay: Think must be random fore shadowing or a lamp shade.

Alex: Its over there make you look.

Alex has small gun Jessica stand back.
Jessica mutters what she like said.
Alex monologues telling Jay Bond and Jessica Humpsalot his plan.

Masky sign language Hello in your base tackling your dudes.
They would pick a flight of stair like in Die Hard movie.

Jay and Jessica run with Jessica beating Jay to parking lot.
Brillant idea lets talk for two minutes no rush and why not loot his car.

The hotel scence not bad part note Operator use more lubricant so Jessica does not scream to be talked about in Marble Pornets.
Jay hugs the Operator personal forcefield knocking him.

Having last Jay films Tim and the shipping begins.

Finding Alex the first time

I wanted to ask a question, because I feel like I am missing something. If this has already been answered here , I apologize in advance.

Supposedly, Jay wakes up in entry 27-28 after a 7 month hiatus. He finds a bunch of tapes and a hard drive in his hotel room safe, which he starts reviewing. So, in entry #35 we see Alex show up for the first time with Jay in a very long time.
Jay keeps reviewing the tapes, watching himself, Jessica and Alex up until Entry #52, in which we find out how Jay and Jessica got to the hotel, and how the tapes & hard drive ended up in the safe from entry 28.

So, are we assuming that after Jay put the tapes and hard drive in the safe, that he and Jessica woke up (in entry 27-28 ) with their memories blanked, which is why they don't know one another and Jay doesn't remember the code of how to get into the safe (1102)?

And, it seems like Jay was searching for Alex up until his 7 month hiatus. In fact it seems that was one of his sole purposes for doing this, to find Alex. So, in Entry #35 Alex just shows up in that dilapidated house that Jay just happens to be in.
Is that supposedly the first time Jay sees Alex since he has begun his investigation? If so , it seems like they would have made a bigger deal of it. Or, are they purporting that Jay found Alex before Entry #35 (in a sequence we have not seen), and that they came to that dilapidated house in Entry #35 together?

It just seems like that if Jay were searching for Alex, and he apparently found him in Entry #35 (or before Entry #35), during that span of time 7 months long that he can't remember, that they would be making a bigger deal of it. Am I missing something?

If anyone can help me, I'd greatly appreciate it. It just seems like there is a hole somewhere that won't let my mind rest.

What's bothering me is that Alex said that he "could have done this (shoot them) anytime he wanted to." if that's the case then why wait until now? He said himself that he didn't want Jessica involved yet he waited to kill Jay. The longer jay was around Jessica , the more likely she would have become involved. So if Alex could have killed them anytime he wanted and he didn't want Jessica involved, why did he wait so long to do it.
