my theory was tht Tim attacked Jay so forcfully to push him away from the house and the tapes, and when tht didn't work, Tim had to help him instead(i made a huge-ass theory thts almost all tim is good theories i'll edit in a link)

Maybe Tim is rational enough to realize that Jay did not intend to actually hurt him--his reaction to Alex rocking Tim was one of shock. I don't think Tim is as batshit crazy as we sometimes make him out to be. I mean, he's obviously somewhat off his rocker, but he definitely has some sort of game plan besides "Let's tackle Alex because he's a dick."

But yeah, you're right--the general consensus seems to be that it's because Jay was not the target, Alex was, but after that first violent meeting and before Entry 35, the only encounter Jay really had with Masky was Masky bum-rushing him to get him out of the way, or eluding him altogether. So, maybe Tim won't be violent, but it's not to say he won't go back to ignoring Jay (except to freak him out or whatever).

Like I said, I'm not really behind it, but I do think it's an interesting thought to entertain.

Okay, guys... I don't know if anyone has discussed this in previous threads or not, but i didn't see it on the wiki and figured it needed to be said. I realize it doesn't have anything to do with Entry #52, but here goes anyway.

The S symbol that shows up in Deluge and Program is a greek letter. It's a form of the lower case sigma, used only at the ends of words. It's also the phoenetic symbol for the sound "sh".

Any thoughts?

I was hoping that was the case. It'd really suck if we got all this character development out of him culminating in "Don't worry I'll protect you" and then at the first sign of danger he was all "LOL NOPE FUCK YOU." I couldn't really tell just because of the camera shakes.

Speaking of character development...Seven Months Jay is, for all intents and purposes, dead now. Does this mean he lost all the character development from S2? Sad that's a huge part of him that died...

Possible, but based on what we've seen so far I'm inclined to think that Tim has been hunting for Alex ever since the events of the 2006 summer, and that all of Tim's interactions with J throughout season 1 were motivated by the idea that J was his best bet for finding Alex again. As of now I'm thinking that Tim has been using J to find Alex in season 1, and to get a better shot at him in season 2, but also isn't willing to let J die to get what he wants. To me he comes off as this weird sort of anti-hero. I mean seriously, what the hell is Tim XD

 		But Seven Months Jay charged the Operator! Would S1 Jay have done that? No chance in hell. SMJ also became more genre-savvy, more assertive, stood up for himself more and was able to pull a successful ninja. All that is gone now. I mean, it guess it always has the potential to come back because Jay himself still exists, but...

 		So I just thought of this... I'm tired as balls right now, so sorry if I sound derppy..

So in this entry, Jay gets teleported. The warping seems to be what erased his mind of the past 7 months. I feel like this is suppossed to be what we're getting out of the scene with TO. So what if when TO warps somebody, it erases a part of them? Maybe the weaker somebody is, the more that gets erased? After Jay attacked TO, he was thrown around the room and then warped. The savage beating/warping erased parts of his memories...

Now let's talk about Bruce. Bruce was warped after he was killed and mutilated. After watching the tape of this happening, Jay tried to find any reports of a missing person in the area, and comes up with nothing. So what if Bruce was taken out of existence? I don't think that Bruce was just some random homeless man. He was first seen smoking while leaning on his car. Its unlikely that he was just some random homeless man and its even more unlikely that nobody wouldn't notice him missing..

Again, sorry if I sound like derp, but its late and I'm tired.

 		Ok--so definitely this entry was WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! A billion kudos to MH crew for a smashing season finale Cool

Was thrilled to see Jessica back,and I thought she was damned attractive in the original entries at beginning of season,but agree with all who say that she's even more smokin' now Drool

Just to throw my 2c in about a few things:I definitely hear someone saying "Seth" as mentioned between 8:40-43,and I am not one who usually supports most things supposedly seen/heard,as so many things wind up not actually being there.But it's very clear in this entry.Now--beyond that though--I have NO IDEA what it means or why it's there.
I don't think Alex is dead--but I'm betting that fall fucked him up some and he ain't gonna be happy about it.My guess is that the gun went off/misfired but no one actually got hit.But I could be wrong.
I do think that Masky wanted to save Jay/Jessica from Alex for whatever reason--but am not toally sure that that automatically means their now "buds".Jay filming him at end of entry was a surprise and seeing Tim walking around not limping and appearing more "normal" was unexpected and is curious--and the "bottle tree" in the yard I'm thinking is almost CERTAINLY NOT random--I live in the south and see these all over and the superstition behind them hits far too close to home to be a coincidence,especially since Jay focuses on it more than 1-2 seconds.
I am of the thought that Jay rushed The Operator out of rage and frustration and having had enough,especially since he is yelling at him and all exasperated just BEFORE--but there is still a small percentage of me that thinks that MAYBE he was sucked in by OT or maybe both things happened at once.
Someone many pages back said that TO didn't move in this entry and that's incorrect--he moves his arms as Jay comes towards him.I am pretty certain that this move/encounter contibutes greatly to Jay's memory lapse/mindwipe/amnesia.At first I thought that Jay was teleported and then when someone put up a gif showing him actually leaning to one side and then seeming to disappear and after that be lying on the floor all open-eyed and "slenderized" I began to kinda re-think the teleportation.
However--when he' sitting there in that odd light looking up at TO (I'm assuming this) ala ToTheArk's "Return",looking at the background and the weird,otherworldly light-play doesn't look like the hotel room--it looks like it's maybe outside.I want to agree with everyone who thinks this might be where Jay teleports to tunnel in "noentry" but a few of the details seem to thwart that theory--one of them being how Jay is dressed.
I also think it was Hoodie in the woods following them so he could alert Masky in the vacant place Alex was leading them to.
I guess that about covers my thoughts and theories....
Off topic I wanna say that I am on here sporadically and missed the advent of Tharol's initial coming to this board.But I gotta say--it has been an absolute pleasure reading all his input and many is the time he made me laugh out loud and brought joy to my day--so--thank you,Tharol!! Oh,and you owe ME a new monitor TOO after reading your initial take on this entry in your own inimitable fashion. Laughing

 		The reason why he was focusing on the bottle tree is because he's not trying to make it look like he's filming Tim.
I hardly think a little lawn decoration filmed for 2 seconds could be significant.
