 		Am I the only one who noticed that the Operator was tilting its head until Jay faced it, at which point its head quickly bolted upright?

I see it now and I also see how fast he moves his arms up when Jay gets right in front of him

This has been discussed many, many, times. The most recent consensus was that it's either a sigma or a stigma (a ligature of sigma and tau), and we have no freaking clue what it means, if anything at all.

If it's the phonetic symbol for the sound "sh," maybe that's TTA's way of saying, "Shh! Quiet!"

TTA has, after all, made a big deal out of listening, being silent, paying attention... that kind of thing.

 		Theory on the Operator attack
This may already have been mentioned (sorry if it has), but I was just thinking: Alex seems to have some sort of control over the Operator, or at least an ability to summon it. Evidence: in #45, he gets attacked by the two maskies, but something (presumably the Operator) scares them off before they brain him with a rock. In #49, the Operator disposes of Bruce's body for him.

In this entry, I wonder if, after failing to kill Jay and Jessica himself in the wooden structure, he sends the Operator after them instead. They both get their minds wiped in the hotel - remember, Alex pretty much said he had to kill them for knowing too much. Maybe the Operator is trying to protect Alex, or do his bidding: he makes J&J forget all the incriminating things they'd found out about Alex in the previous 7 months (At the end of Season 1, before the Amnesia period, Jay still thinks Alex is the good guy. If Jay had never looked at his tapes, he would still be thinking that and Alex would be safe.)

It's a weird idea, that the Operator would mind-wipe people rather than kill them, when Alex has no such compunction. Maybe Alex is the main antagonist of this series, not the Operator.

Maybe, it's not a bad theory. But still, the main mistery about Slendy, for me, it's how the hell he ever appeared in Alex's life.

It almost works, but Alex did nothing in season two during modern day to prevent Jay from watching the tapes from the 7 month gap anyway. In fact, Masked Tim is the only one who seems to prevent Jay from getting those tapes, but even that is debatable.

We haven't actually seen modern-day Alex yet - only "7-months" Alex from the tapes. It's possible he is incapacitated and unable to stop Jay from finding out what happened. Maybe when the gun went off he was shot? He could be dead, though I think it's unlikely for story-telling reasons (and OOG, the fact that Joseph is Troy's friend means it's unlikely he's going to write him out of the series before it's over).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only time we see Tim near Jay when tapes are involved is in Season Two is when Jay unlocked the safe. Why did Tim only turn up then? My theory is that he had been waiting for Jay to open the safe because he wanted the tapes for himself. Maybe he wanted the evidence on Alex's activities for whatever reason.

Or maybe he wanted them because he was running out of footage for the TTA videos. Smile

 		And if Alex sent the Operator to erase Jay's memories back a few months, he would have done so fully capable to continue to do so after Jay woke up. But he didn't. I don't think Alex sent the Operator. I think the Operator just creeped like always, and Jay got a little too close.

Like another Slendy blog I followed once said:

"Only one person ever touched the Master.
Who was it?
Timmy.
What happened to Timmy?
He got too close to the Master, and imploded."

 		Heres a thought, maybe tim attacked J to steal the tapes to find out what alex was doing in the tunnel, call me crazy but I think that tunnel is the main spot were he meets TO, If I remember correctly J chased tim into that tunnel in an entry (Can't remember which one). So maybe hes trying to get in contact with him to gain what alex has (Maybe some type of agreement or access to power)
