*sigh* Well, that was a bust. Yet again the L.A. drop point was right on top of someone and traffic was the worst. And I was only 5 miles away, too...

Seriously, who told the L.A. city council that doing construction on a major road, one that is the only entrance to a major freeway, at 1 PM was a good idea?

And nowhere near a real computer. Just my mobile. Hope the QR code isn't time sensitive. Dunno when I will be able to see any of this. Curses, Saran wrapped.. er.. I mean foiled again!

and I'll make a humble suggestion that this thread stay on topic specifically for the Icefly Mission. If you wish to discuss details about the new Facililty 5, please feel free to create separate threads for each of the puzzles you find there, or a new thread just to "Ooo" and "Aaahh" over the pretty. Thank you!

Pix incoming later. getting ready to hit Fac 5. Unfortunately a wing jarred loose from the lil bugger on the ride home. =( I kept jacket under it with decent padding and everything in hopes that would not happen, but it's middle center wing is laying on the bottom of the canister. I emailed them as I know others have and they recieved in tact ones.

One way or another, I am soooooo happy! I gots it! watching it in case of new and different blinky.

Congrats on finding it bud!

Naw I'm not worried about you waiting around 20 minutes... That's completely fine.

I'm annoyed that I spent 2 hours on site, taking pictures, and dealing with the crazies of San Francisco I hate so much... When no one had a clue it had already been taken... No updates from the company, no checkbox saying it was claimed, and no posts on the forums...

That's a huge waste for everyone involved... (I'd like to thank everyone who was helping in IRC, on the phone, through EMails, and Text Messages with this situation)

I got there less than 20 minutes after Coord's were put out ( started at AT&T Park) - Kudos to you for getting there first!

Thanks! man it was exciting. I took a guess at where to camp out and it worked out well for me, though I did wait XD. My friends in the TSN IRC really were a big help, especially HappyPhantom who was my oracle.

Nah it was funny. There was a lady sitting on the bench that it was under, so I asked my oracle to describe the area like 5 times before being all "excuse me" and just taking a quick duck under and grabbing the key (thank goodness it was there cause that would have been hard to explain otherwise). Just as I walked away DJChristensen (he is a really awesome guy, btw) pulled up. it was close! I had to wait a few minutes to compose myself to text in the number. I was that excited! I hope y'all had a lot of luck with the Super 8 drop. I sat it out to get a little beauty rest hahaha! I much prefer this. This is my first ARG and I will treasure this item for quite some time (though I do hope I can have something done about it's broken wing...) I have it sitting right next to my compy right now! =3

Oh man, you got a t-shirt! Awesome. Those are really cool.

When I went to retrieve my icefly, I was wandering around looking for the rep, and this guy in an icefly shirt came up and said "You look like you're looking for someone." And I was like "I am looking for someone wearing your shirt!" It was one of those moments where you say something horrendously awkward and hope no one notices. Fortunately, he didn't seem to care. Smile
