Yep. Everything they mention would make a killer Slender-series. Living inside the images. Footage from a previous victim. Kid victims. And that photo that moves on his screen when he isn't looking... some series should steal THAT right the hell now.

Looks pretty fun. Though it suffers from that common ailment of (possibly) showing too much of the plot in the trailer.

And yeah, that's exactly how I'd have made a cinematic Slenderman film.

You know, I might be crazy, but I think the crossed out circle is usually something that ends up on the empty filler filmstock at the beginning and end of a filmstrip. I'm fairly certain that it's a conventional film editing shorthand symbol.

Of course, here they seem to be wanting to pull it into that weird demon symbol thingy whatever.

The operator symbol shows up EVERYWHERE. There was a really amusing thread a while back where someone realized it represents trees on landscaping diagrams, and in response an older poster posted all the other things it refers to and represents.
