The game ended long ago. Harassing the people running the game is NOT going to make our swag (if we do receive any) appear any faster. I know we all spent money on codes and whutnot, but being a jerk to the people to created this game, where we all made friends and had tons of fun playing it, is NOT you way to show appreciation to 42E.

I realize this but I do feel that some people like people that did not get any thing out of this like an icefly or any swag deserve closure as well as all of us tell me what did you find out that this was for other than making money for 5 there were actors sites live dead drops. And I am not trying to be a jerk in any way just want them to know this cant go unnoticed. We built a fan base were live in chat rooms txting people in the field directions it was our community that helped there game the game creators succeed. Without or support it probably wouldn't have gone any further than a couple 100 of lurkers and weekly's. Do not get me wrong I loved this game and loved making the friends I did but it is because of that, that I want them to see a closing in this great story.

We need them. They don't need us. It's not like you and anyone else was that special. I mean it was a marketing campaign. It was more than a couple hundred people. I mean look at how much gum they sold and how much gum people buy.
42E isn't going to get back to us. They're busy with other args and it's a small company with employees spread out as is. It's not like they have the time to listen to complaints. They already know that they have to ship out prizes but they can only put so many people to the task.
It was a great game and yeah I have to admit I want my prize too. But you can't spend all your time complaining and thinking about it. Just get on with your life and wait.

In a way, any ARG based around a video game or movie or whatever is just to make money. To get people to want to buy your shit, plain and simple. I'm not saying I'm pleased w/ the way the game ended, but we did get to have some fun while it ran and meet new people, and that's awesome that this brought together a group of people who would have never met. Less than 50 people got iceflies, out of the HUNDREDS (or thousands) of players, don't feel like you are the only one who "didn't get anything". All I'm saying man is, don't get upset that you didn't get any "swag". Lots of us didn't, we can only hope that we will eventually get something and move on to the next ARG.

Ok look I am not sitting here and just waiting for a prize look yes I want my token but at the same time as a good player I waited to contact them about this problem and 42E is one of my favorite game makers. But however they are most certainly obligated to give us our tokens. They are a reputable company as is 5Gum but the fact is they did not deliver. As well as this was my first real arg I was introduced to and to end up with no good out come on there side is disappointing. The facts are is that they did not end this story or arg it has left US the community and fan base down. As far as supporting the fact that they hit a home run with this arg is not even close to what has happened here and just to add to the fact that they are not going to want us to know that they screwed up is that on there site with the link OUR WORK the last thing listed was an old game. Also the are not returning at least one email or call or at least sending one or a couple out with letters saying that the others will take awhile to get sent out. As for the fact of letting this go, maybe but not until at least a few more months but I will always remember the failed attempt of 42E. And as for there resources they have the funds and are able to run multiple AAA productions they all ways send out the swag to there players ***( Until Now )*** If you do not support what I posted then either ignore it or do not post unhelpful messages downgrading me remember I only did this for all of us as a group.

.... You did get swag! Okay it was minimal, but you got an awesome test subject badge and some gum delivered to you!!
No one forced you to buy gum! It was possible to enjoy the game without buying any gum at all!!!
To be fair, you say that they owe you something, but they actually gave you a well designed free game!! And yes you bought gum, but it was an advertising promo and people dont often go around designing things like that with completely altruistic motives! E.g I love bees = ad for halo 2
chill fella!

You realize that they don't answer YOUR emails? Most of the emails I've sent them have been replied to very quickly. Maybe if you have a positive aspect about it you would get a reply.
There was an ending okay. If you have been in any other arg you know it takes time to close things up. The thing is this is not 42e alone. Why do you keep putting the blame on 42e? 5 gum marketing worked with them so both marketing teams have to work hard to get this all out.
You assume that these people have all the time in the world to worry about your damn prizes. Maybe you should get a job and see how this goes.
Look at Flynn lives. Sometimes updates didn't go on for 3 months. People like you sour our args. They know they have a lot of work to do but they don't need to get berated about it all the time.
Please stop complaining and emailing all the wrong people. Maybe if you were nice about it and wrote a letter in which they could read correctly they would answer.
I've received ALL my emails regarding complaints and questions. Not once have I asked about the damn prizes because I don't need to.
You're a 14 year old and the thing is... you can't be complaining about spending money on gum. There is no way you could have bought it yourself.
A lot of people are disappointed sure but they're still waiting for hope or a sign. But they sure aren't hassling the damn employees.
42E has never failed. They might be late but they'll show.
Now if you don't stop complaining I WILL email your mom.

Hey guys look I am not mad just disappointed and yes there was a set of badges and gum. But in order to unravel the story and full game buying or receiving codes would have to be needed. Also sinz the emails I send them are very polite and recently in the past 26 hours I have received two e-mails from 5GUM support and am talking with them at the moment the people that do not reply are the game makers. Also once again if you are not happy with my views that is fine I do not care just do not try to make me look like a bad guy on the fourms.

Not saying you are a bad guy. Sorry if my words came out a bit harsh but just wait it out man. I mean no one has been been going REVOLT against 5 gum.
You did post that we should spam their emails and phone calls so yeah...
Seriously. Just wait it out.

Well I said REVOLT so people could see and its slightly related and I mean until they give us a reasonable explanation as to why they had halted the swag them try and contact them until they do. And I meant spam by everyone who sees this just send a email or call or mail them once or twice and if that is what people are doing then they should have received at least 290 new emails and/or calls. Like I have said before I do not hate either company but am disappointed.

ask 42E about the swag, not wrigleys. They may have sponsored the game, but 42e ran it and THEY should be the ones you are writing...Just saying man.

I don't think anyone is calling you a bad guy -I'm not sure what kind of swag you are expecting?
Like you've already acknowledged, you have the badge and had a free packet of gum and a free, but limited, gaming experience unless you chose to buy gum in which case you could acess more of the game.
The point of the big swag, like the icefly statues, was that they were limited and that they were the prize for the few who got there first - a situation that is true for the majority of ARG.
As a somewhat related example there were framed pictures to be won for the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo game. Not everyone who chose to spend money watching the film or following the game recieved one.

Oh yes I know of the limited swag in ARGs like the statues . But the swag I was looking forward to could have been the comic or braclet or even a letter saying sorry.
