I especially like the FAQ. When asked if Tall Man is based on the Operator:

Quote:
No, this is an original screenplay by Pascal Laugier.

Besides, Marble Hornets's "Slinderman" was more of a ghost story, "The Tall Man" is going to be more of a thriller Director has stated the fallowing information "I like to think of The Tall Man as a sort of Panic Room... outside! It is a 'woman in jeopardy' movie with a lot of twists and a strong female character that you feel very connected to."

I am so calling the Operator "Slinderman" from now on XD

Though this movie was concieved before slenderman was. It's not a slenderman movie, so we can all breathe easy.

I couldn't think of anyone sufficiently crazy enough, and then he came to mind.

And she's trying to get her child back from an unknown kidnapper.
So it's Changeling?

It could be worse. It could have been a buddy cop drama with a mobster they call the slender man or a romantic comedy where the slenderman is Jay's personal demon or... OH GOD MAKE ME STOP BEFORE I GIVE THEM IDEAS!!!

Apparently Phantasm was a movie about a paranormal entity in a business suit that abducted children, and that predates the conception of slenderman as well. So basically, like I said, this isn't a slenderman movie, and you don't need to concern yourself with it unless you think it'll be good.

EDIT: Also, I can't believe I somehow missed Rhea's "Alex played by Gary Busey" idea. That's one of the best ideas ever!

I can just hear him yelling "YOU BROUGHT YOUR DOG!"

Christopher Walken would have to be Tim. Only instead of mysteriously running around in J's field of vision he'd be dancing and flying like in "Weapon of Choice".

Hey guy's it wouldn't be so bad if in like ten years Troy directed a film adaptation of it.

Unless Jay was played by Samual L Jackson.

But I think Chuck Noris could do a convincing Bruce interpretation.

So wait, Samuel L. Jackson as Jay, Gary Busey as Alex, and Christopher Walken as Tim?

I want to see this movie.

Christopher Walken would be Tim after he starts wearing the mask. Before he puts it on, like during the early 2006 footage, he'd be played by Hayden Christensen or however you spell that name.

Jessica would probably be recast as improbable proportioned actress, as well. Rolling Eyes
