If Kris and Nick do another chapter in the Afraid of Homeverse, I'm guessing that the location will probably be a lot less fixed then it was in Afraid at Home and we'll probably have a more proactive protraganist ("FATHER thought he could judge the world, but he failed to judge the end of Jordan's gun...Ohhh yeah...." Smile

), but still very much in a everyman/everywoman mould. I don't think Jake will be the protraganist of the series (although I'm not ruling out him featuring as a supporting character or even just making an appearance of some kind), though, but given the given the nature of the ending Afraid of Home, I think Kris and Nick will let the dust settle for awhile for anything Kyle related and that the series will focus on the new protraganist and their situation with FATHER and then hint or allude to Kyle's ultimate fate.

I thought it might be useful to have a general Q & A with Kris and Nick, if they don't mind.

How did you guys meet? Have you worked with each other before on any other projects? How would you describe your collaborative process? Kris, you told us that you worked on the video entries and Nick wrote the tumblr entries � but did you guys mix up your roles at any point?

How did you guys get into The Slenderman mythos? What drove you to create a Slenderman series? Afraid at Home is very different to many Slenderman series in it's mostly fixed location, few characters and sole protraganist and it's a combination of blog and videos and of course Slenderman not being a supernatural force. What drove you guys to be different from the other series around? What was your general and other sources of inspiration? How did your plans change for Afraid at Home overtime? Did the loss of Mega Upload affect your plans for the series in anyway?

Hey everyone,

Well it's been a month and I'm still grieving over Kyle. Just wondering: what was your favourite moment/entry from Afraid at Home and what do you think was the best entry?

For me, my favourite moment was pretty much any time Pater interacted with us, the audience directly (particularly the Q & A sessions) I love a good mystery and dear God, did Kris and Patrick (sorry about getting your name wrong before, mate) know how to deliver one. Infuriating and frustrating as hell, but we all come back for more. Best moment? Probably entry 'Endfile01'.. We were all thinking that we knew what was going on � that Kyle was simply crazy and delusional, suffering from a split personality and yet everything we thought we knew about the series was well and truly turned on it's head. I'm willing to say that Kyle #1 is the most tragic character ever in Slender fiction. A seven year old child, locked in their own body, forced to watch as someone else lives their life? Truly haunting�.

Edited a rather stupid question which Kris had already answered and my apologies to Kris and everyone else for forgetting the forthcoming behind the scenes and commentary. (BTW, which I can't wait for Smile

)
