 		Looks like there is something to decode now on the Wordpress page.

I've been talking to PatriciaDuncan on Deviantart. She is officially an IG character.

A new aquaintance of mine that goes by the name Fray is in some kind of pickle. I understand I can't really ask you for info on her. She keeps referencing something called "The Pattern". A few of her friends and I have deduced that she has been to the Pattern Mental Hospital. I was wondering if those two doctors she is seeing work there or are affiliated in some way.

PatriciaDuncan:Um, no. I'm afraid we don't have any doctors here by that name... we're a bit understaffed at the moment, actually. That's very kind of you all to look out for her though. Being in a mental hospital is never fun for the patient, no matter what the reason is. Just make sure she stays okay, alright? I'd hate to see her back here.

Me: So would we. She also keeps talking about something called The Scraps. We found a blog belonging to them in which they posted about some strange attacks ocurring at a Pattern Mental Hospital. I googled the hospital and found very little. The only relevant result I found is your deviantart page. That's how I found you, in case you were wondering.

Is there a website for the hospital?
Sorry if I'm being weird or asking too many questions. We are just trying to see if what she is talking about is real or not.

PatriciaDuncan: Hah, yes. The Scraps are indeed real. They're the reason we're so understaffed. Actually, there is a Pattern webpage, but it's still under construction [and looks like it might stay that way since our webpage creator quit] so, I'm a bit embarrassed to link you to it right now. Maybe once it's in a bit better condition.

Uhm... I'm sorry to sound a bit forward, but... I was speaking with my superiors today, and thought it would be good to see if I could get a bit more information on this friend of yours?


And apparently I made a boo boo and said a little more than I should have... Embarassed I can't figure out how to copy and paste from Hub Chat! Fray said I may have told her too much. Be careful around Patricia, guys. Fray said we should lead her off track with false leads.[/quote]

 		I'm playing! I've been in contact with Fray (mostly via the hub, with the exception of an email about the code), Scraps (via e-mail, the hub, and blogger), and Patricia (via DeviantArt)... though so far, Patricia hasn't said too much, but she seems to be open to more communication. Scraps said that they are considering me as a candidate, but they are still deciding.

Funny story about that; I didn't get the code email at first and had figured out

as the key... then, just as I was about to rip my hair out in frustration, I got the email with the entire code. haha.

I was almost tempted to continue trying to figure it out on my own, just because I'd already gotten so far, but I was too excited to read the transcription to waste any more time on it. lol. Razz

 		More from Patricia. Figured we all should get our stories straight. I told her that our the person I was asking about would have been admitted for Major Depressive Disorder and PTSD.

Just... throwing ideas out there, but... is it possible that your friend was brought in for schizophrenia?

Me: Not that I've heard. It would have been Major Depressive Disorder paired with PTSD.

The Story Of The Scraps: Chapter 1 - Arrival

Said the parents, nodding at each other.
So happy with their naivety.
And then
With the parents smiling and waving,
The children were led away from their parents
To a set of metal doors.
One brave child asked
"When do we see them again, doctor?"
"Yes, we do miss our family so!"
But the doctor shook his head.
And laughed.
"But you have only been separated for a few minutes, little children. Be patient."
And so the children nodded their heads, following the doctor down the hall.
"Yes, we will be good children indeed."
"I do not even miss my mother!"
"Nor do I!"
"I will not cry over my father!"
"No, I will not cry either!"
Their voices echoed down the hall as their parents walked away.
They had reached the metal door.

The child looked around him,
and was suddenly very afraid.
There were no toys.

It was a concrete room.
Not a window.
Not a bed.
There was a blanket,
on a worn cot.
The room smelled of bleach
It stung his nose and frightened him.
This was a room he had had nightmares about.
This was a prison. This is where the bad children were told they would end up.
But he was a good child. How did he end up in such a place?
"Where am I?"
The child asked the doctor.
"You are staying here, SS12"
The doctor said.
His voice was hollow.
The child ran for the door
But just as he reached it
It was shut in his face.
He could hear the other children crying outside the door.
"Why is he in there?"
"Was he a bad child?"
"He must have been a very bad child."
"His room does not have any toys."
"Our rooms will certainly have toys."
"Indeed, because we are good little children."
