[TRAILHEAD] Nexus Humanus Sustainable happiness is coming soon Brought up in the chat room for the Test Subjects needed arg.
initial link http://nexushumanus.com/
and a youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/user/nexushumanus
looks like a cult of some kind. You can apparently score 25 H-creds (currency of some sort) for signing up early and inviting friends via Facebook
Also the FB page created by players http://www.facebook.com/groups/143584619056475?id=143595319055405¬if_t=group_activity
Edit: While I use the term 'cult' it is only in a comical descriptive sense. Obviously this isn't a real cult. Unless it is a real cult then I would trust my fellow argers to know better

On the Facebook page, they connected a couple of sites to this as well:
http://societytwins.com/
and
http://www.theshadowgang.com/
On societytwins.com , they're talking about their missing brother. I already see the connection that the brother has joined this Nexus Humanus cult, and he'll show up at some point, we'll need to tell the sisters about it, etc....
Interesting start though. It seems company-driven, as the Nexus Humanus page has a Terms of Service and Privacy Policy referencing a company called LLL1 . Haven't found any real info on that yet.
EDIT:
When doing a Google search for "Nexus Humanus", the Pre-Registration video shows up on Vimeo.com. There is a 'Nexus Humanus" registered there:
http://vimeo.com/user7824472
There is also a Vimeo link on Google.com titled "Nexus Humanus Teaser", posted by 'Digital Intent'. Trying to view it, it says it was removed on July 18th.
Looking further into "Digital Intent" finds this page on Vimeo:
http://vimeo.com/user6966241
It says they're based in Chicago, IL, the same city that LLL1 is located. They have a video titled: "Story Matrix Intro", talking about a sales tool called 'Story Matrix'.
Their website is http://www.digintent.com/ . Their Facebook page is http://www.facebook.com/digitalintent
That's all I have so far.

Finally found the final pieces that reveal what this is all for:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
On author Michael Grant's Facebook, he made a post linking to societytwins.com on July 18th:
""People who like my books may find this interesting. Eventually. http://societytwins.com/ Why? I'm not saying. Yet."
He has a book coming out February 28th called BZRK. The Shadow Group, on their twitter (which has been erased now) were shopping around a project called BZRK, by Michael Grant"
So basically, this will be a viral ARG for Grant's new book coming out February of next year.

Upon further investigation, I found the Morgenstein Twins...

Just got this email.
Quote:
Mr. Hatchet mr.hatchetSPLAT theshadowgang.com
I wouldn't trust The Shadow Gang as far as I can throw a hatchet... but I can throw a hatchet pretty damn far so I guess you can take those clowns at their word. Whenever they call upon my services they always pay up on time. At least I can say that much for them.
So you want inside? Fine. Who am I to say "no" to someone of your stature?
deliriumsunshine
deliriumsunshine was my keyword, here's the page I got:
Quote:
We believe there's five more of these somewhere. Collect the rest and send them back to Mr. Hatchet for your just reward.
And a piece of paper that says "Improper thoughts_" can't do anything else on the page though.

Hey, I want an e-mail!
I haven't gotten anything. Did you receive this in response to providing your e-mail address on TheShadowGang.com website for the 'key code' ?

Yup. Not sure if we are supposed to use the picture on the page to send back to Mr. Hatchet or not.

This "cult" looks like it was modeled on Dianetics and the Church of Scientology with its writings by L. Ron Hubbard. Promising a New Age concept of utopia. They also pass out 'personality tests' as recruitment tools, like Sylvie refers to in the http://societytwins.com/ blog.

I tried squeezing some more info out of Mr. Hatchet, let's just say he's not much for talking.
Quote:
I come to you. You don't come to me.
Unless it's one of those stupid napkins. Those I'll take a look at. Put "napkin" in the subject line.
So I guess that answers my question.

Mr. Hatchet today i had a TON of interaction with Mr. H. He had me gain his trust, and for that he gave me a gift. This was the gift that he gave me http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=2264321813257&set=o.143584619056475&type=1&theater

That link just tosses up a "Content Not Available" page, even after removing the [img] tag from the end of it. Any chance you saved the photo, etc?
