If Jeff's dead, this series will be near conclusion in all likelyhood.

(Warning: OOG discussion abounds after this point.)

But if we put a Meta spin on this here's how it looks. If the point of this entry was to kill Jeff, then thats all I think they would have brought up this entry. The thing is, they brought up another plot point, that lead Jeff to Evan's home. If Jeff died there is little chance Vince would follow through on it, because it would take Vince time to look for Jeff. After all, we don't know after the end of that video if Jeff's dead, he might just be kidnapped and is now being tortured by HABIT. Considering a similar fate befell Nick, who said in video " He got ya man." this in from an IG perspective, very likely, but OOG this is unlikely. We seem to now be moving on to a new Arc of talking to this women who knew Corrintal, and if this discussion between Jeff and Vince was just a way to get Jeff over to Evan's home, it seems a little elaborate. Jeff an Evan are friends, and Jeff going over there because they got a lead, seems unneeded, Jeff could be checking up on him. Now it could argued that Jeff needs a good reason to go there because recently Evan's behavior has been erratic, to the point of Mania, and Jeff would be concerned, but why would he not bring this up to Vince before he left.

In other words this lead is going to be followed through, and this means that an arc involving Jeff's disappearance is unlikely. But why that weird footage of Evan in the video, if it was not going to be followed through on. My guess, it's a combination of HABIT possession and a sick joke Evan's playing on Jeff. The way the entry ends could imply that Jeff entered an alternate dimension and that when he leaves Evan playfully grabs him. If this is a Hidden Video, then an ending like that would defiantly help Habit alienate Evan, and turn us against him, or turn him against us, Evans already sort of fed up with us, and strain like this would completely cut him off.

Suddenly occurred to me that HABIT might be using Jeff as bait. Just throwin' that out there. (Like everything/one else.)

Custom Slenderman Fig I came across recently. Pretty well made, I would snatch this up in a heartbeat if it was cheaper.

That link should really be in the off-topic thread.

I like the "DC Universe" tag, though.

[Hopefully no one has mentioned this already- I don't wanna be "that guy"- but]

Considering that the black and white footage hs been widely assumed to be a time loop, similar to that of Dr. Corenthal's appearance in "Jessie's Back", does that not mean that Nick would have been talking to Evan rather than Jeff? And if he was talking to Evan (quote: "He's got you, man."), is that a reference to the HABIT, and has Evan really been completely consumed by the HABIT's influence for so long?

The unpopular opinion:

This is a hidden video, I have my theory on who is responsible for some of the hidden videos but CLEARLY HABIT has a hand in some of them.

This might be a hidden video.

And if that is the case, game over, too late.

This is highly possible, as it's missing a description. But does this mean it's also another separate timeline?

The way they emphasized the old lady so much makes me think that they were actually saying...

"You were supposed to do this, now poor jeffy is going to have to suffer a bit.."

Seriously though if this is endgame (which I really don't think so) I would seriously pay good money for this complete series on DVD.

I do like the theory that Nick was just a ghostly image of sorts and Evan was just playin' a prank but why was Scissor Sisters on so loud? That had to be a clue of what was going to happen and the fact that they never made an ending where it was a cliffhanger only to be not true scares me a bit.

Hey guys, what is the ratio to the number of videos the four can see, to the videos they can't see? I'm thinking it's less than 50%. XD

I mentioned this a few pages back, though no one seemed to notice. Rolling Eyes
Honestly, I think this is the most logical thing, rather than it being a "ghost".

We only emailed them about checking on Maryann Corenthal about ten thousand times last year. I think if we could've done anything about this issue then that would have qualified. Midway through last year I figured that it was a story beat they simply weren't willing to activate yet, which is fine.

#my emails

Ummm..so I was going over the latest video which obviously was "Dead End with A Pulse".....

It starts at 12:03. I have no idea where Jeff is maybe outside the house or something. But through the window I see (who I think is Evan from that style of hair) seem to just rise up like he was laying down sort of. It creeps me out a bit.

12:03 - 12:05 to be exact. Don't know if it means anything but realized it just now.

Random thought- Someone previously pointed out that the trials up to 7 went a span of nine months, November to August. Now trial 7 has been August to April. We're just shy of nine months.

And everyone's still alive! Though I have to wonder...

HABIT said that the purpose of these trials was "Body count", but what if HABIT's really looking for new hosts? Namely, the winners of trial 7?

Also, on a completely different note, what if HABIT inhabits Jeff instead of killing him or holding him hostage? That theory disturbs me more than the latter two, on a few grounds:

1. Jeff is definitely more trustworthy than Evan, and would be able to get closer to Vince... and cause something to happen to him.

2. Jeff is SMARTER than Evan, and can cause a lot more harm to others.

3. Evan might not be HABIT's intended. He seems too chaotic, as evident by his status as "Firebrand", whereas Jeff is more collected and able to think independently (as seen in his early solo research missions).

I was also thinking about Vince "swallowing Justice's sword". Maybe Vince could be arrested for later events (Caused by HABIT or the Rake.) Who knows?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Evan, Jeff or Steph might even be the victims in this scenario...

But enough tree-planting for me, what do you guys think?
