i have the sense that we're going to get thrown a curveball. i feel like everything feels too simple and too obvious. obviously habit is in evan. obviously steph's going to give birth to twins and one's going to the antichrist. obviously we're heading towards end game.

i feel like nothing is obvious because that's too simple. which is the one reason that even with the continued silence, i get the feeling that we're not at end game yet. there's more to happen. all of these pieces wouldn't be in play if there weren't more. something is being set up and i see it being longer than just a full on drive towards the end.

besides, habit made it clear that "the best is yet to come." that seems to indicate to me that we've got a bit longer to go before we hit end game. even if that's the eventual direction we're going in.

I think I may have unintentionally started a discussion that doesnt need to happen. I don't really think that the series will end in such a bad fashion. Jeff and the others are better than that. Their storytelling up to now has been spot on and I dont think they would end it abruptly with everyone being dead, leaving us with no explanation.

I know this may be WAY late, but I just noticed that there was a clip in "Twenty-Four days" that was used in "Dead end with a Pulse"- more specifically, the bloodied hands of Jeff.

Something I was thinking about the other day: Could Box 7 be out there waiting for pickup? We got explicit "get box now!" instructions with the first six, I know, but could they be going for something more subtle with the last one?

I just keep mulling over the pre-disaster segments of "Dead End with a Pulse", and how the boys had determined that they needed to get back up to Baldpate, stat. Then Jeff ends up (presumably) incapacitated, Evan doesn't seem to be in control of his body, and Vince has apparently gone to ground for a while. Since a return to Baldpate is something that needs to be done, and since none of the boys are in a shape to do it, could there be a suggestion that we need to make the trip ourselves to help them out?

Alternatively, in "Dead End" they went out of their way to mention a patch of woods behind an elementary school in Yardville. Sounds like a recipe for an accessible hidey-hole to me.

I'm probably just grasping at straws here, but thought I'd share anyway.
