Awesome! Up for grabbing some seam splitters and seeing if there's anything inside?

I dropped it on a light box. There doesn't appear to be anything in there.

It DOES?!

AND if you find a special kind of mushroom, that gives you one more life!
Hopefully Vince finds that before Evan does.

All kidding aside, we need to combine (if we can) all the rabbit's ink ribbon pieces. I'll bet a pretty dollar that it says something of value.

I got my letter from HABIT. Inside was the badge with "89" (nothing inside), the rabbit card that said "think happy thoughts", and an ink ribbon, which the mail was not kind to:

Quote:
I tried to talk to her directly, and she just looks off, towards the blank wall, out a window, anywhere but the situation at hand. I tried talking to Evan about this, to see what he thought about her distance.

I'm looking to see if "think happy thoughts" is an anagram or something similar. Alternately, the message makes me think of Peter Pan, in which you had to think happy thoughts to fly.

Pfff! Ha ha ha, those cards!!
So HABIT has taken up scrapbooking! Certainly not a hobby I would have expected a serial murderer and rapist to enjoy, but hey, who am I to judge?

Anyway, that patch gives me a serious case of the creeps. I can't help but be reminded of the numbered prison and concentration camp patches.

Actually Peter Pan novel reference makes an interesting metaphor for this series...
The Ark - Neverland (no one ages or when they do, Peter does them in)
HABIT - similar to Peter Pan, a vicious, heartlessly cruel and weirdly innocent character who never grows up, brings abandoned boys to neverland...

First thing my friend Megan said: "HABIT can sew! Hey, this is a very thoughtful card."

The patches are definitely machine sewn, though.

(I can imagine a concentrated Evan/HABIT by the dark kitchen table at night, his face lit up by the sewing machine lamp, his foot gently pushing the little pedal under the table for the machine to make its hysterical yet comforting buzz, skillfully creating 7 little numbered patches and the costume for his nieces school play tomorrow. Share the body - share the sewing machine.)

Why would he sew two pieces together if there's nothing in between them? Perhaps he wrote something on the inside too? Perhaps pen writing that doesn't show through the fabric?

That was probably the best mental image of HABIT ever, and also, I'm going to dissect my badge just a little. Even if I'm wrong, I have a sewing machine myself.
EDIT: Nope, nothing. My guess is there is the second piece to catch any extra paint that would have soaked through the first, which a little did on mine. And because HABIT doesn't make shoddy gifts.
EDIT 2: I am really starting to wonder what HABIT wants from us. Hopefully the other ink ribbons will help.

What about HyRule?

There's the phone call, and then there's these cards and ink ribbons.

First Corenthal Report, dated 11-17-1971, found in box 3:
"Surely you remember the warren of rabbits found in the Community-yard that Evan had apparently used to recreate the scene of Christ's crucifixion. I cannot forget."

HOLY SH--
I wonder who's getting crucified...

Hyrule (who has an incoming phone call and is a rabbit), Vince (seeing as he's the character not yet dealt with by Evan/HABIT)

Well essentially all those who are rabbits fit into this scene somehow...
