 		Got my letter today. Here's the ink ribbon transcript.
"Always the mediator, always looking o deflect, young vincent took his attention and they went outside to play in the yard. JEffrey had been watching from the stairwell. "I just wish we could have help her" he said, staring away. I don't know what to do, James. I just don't. I guess all we can do is wait and see. -Corental, 3. 6am"

EDIT: Would explain the "beloved" at the beginning... I wonder if any of the other docs have been written by her.

definitely convinced she's miscarriaged. Obviously she didn't make sandwich in the fairmount version, but HABIT wouldn't be sending this if it wasn't the case. My guess at this point is the Evan is THE habit (as opposed to him being HABIT) and that's where the overdose remark comes from (overdosed on his seed, resulting in the pregancy). What has happened now is of contention. Either Evan did the deed to abort or it happened naturally. If time travel is confirmed for the series, HABIT could be Evan come back and pissed behind the scenes. With the Seven Trails having to do with appreaciating life the way we should. As a someone who's been through that pain on the male side of things, and with how unglued Evan had been in the past, it's very possible. It could explain why he showed himself to Green Feathers too. The version we see of HABIT now is the current Evan, possibly with HABIT having set up the trials as a means for Evan to carry something out that the HABIT version of Evan wanted to do. Yeah, it's out there shot in the dark, but makes some weird ass sense for the series.

But aren't the ink ribbons received by the remaining Rabbits supposed to be a continuation of the one Green Feathers found? Because GF's ribbon said "Mary and I were in the living room", and that's the one that references 'beloved' and 'protector' at the beginning. Are we talking about a different Mary now (possible, it's a common name so feasibly Maryann could have a friend named Mary but it seems like a stretch and overly-complicated)? Did James start the account and Mary finish it?

It seems odd for James to reference himself in the third person at the end, but it's almost even stranger for Maryann to be writing an account and saying she and herself were in the living room..

Hmmm... well, we had assumed they were the same document because the story flowed together very well... and otherwise it's consistent with the other documents that the Dr wrote. Hm. Now I'm stumped.

From what it sounds like here, maybe just Jeffrey responded but maybe (in a sense) on a higher plane just for a moment if you catch my drift?

Maybe Candleverse Jeff came out for a second to say that one-liner.

Whether I'm right or not, it's a little odd to believe that a boy less than 12 years old (im assuming what we're dealing with here are young children) would call their father (adopted or not) by their first name out of the blue like that. Have we ever seen Jeffrey talk to James like this before?
That's why i say that Candleverse Jeff came out of Fairmount Jeff for the one-liner. I can't completely wrap my head around this theory either because i still don't have an answer as to why.

Whoever this beloved is, is also the protector of the Corenthal family.
The way the doc says "After all the turmoil..." leads me to believe that he adopted these children by instruction from this beloved protector.
My only guesses are Slenderman (because i don't think he's harmed them unless he's been provoked and in Not Dead Yet Slenderman is in the house with Vin and doesn't that give a sense of looking over and protecting?),Linnie (she's not confirmed to be dead yet, i know this is crazy)...

 		Guys, am I the only one who thinks this is lsowly but continuously steering towards some sort of mindblowing twist?

We had the tweets, we had HABIT communicating with Slenders and Rake sort of stalking, seemingly on the behalf of one of those two, we have the Candleverse, we have James... sort of surfing through time, his daughter growing old and belonging to some sort of secret organization, HABIT's breeding program...

Something is cooking, but I feel like we miss one part of the puzzle.

 		Well, considering the sort of doctor he was to them, it wouldn't be odd for him to have always gone by his first name when talking to them. If he was James before he adopted them, he'd be James afterwards, too.

 		I still feel extremely uncomfortable with the inconsistency of POV in the ink ribbons. It's extremely unsettling as far as HyRule's role is concerned. I would hate to think that the phone call already came and that what he has relayed to us is merely a fabrication to preserve himself...

Steve, that wasn't what I mean... ah he's gone again.

Either way, an ink ribbon works like this: you finish a letter, take it away - one day later, somebody else writes a note - the ink ribbon will continue with the later note. Thus, there could be a break of up to years between two phrases.

Thus, James could have stopped right there, his wife could have written a note to him a day later - the ink ribbon doesn't care, and to us, it looks like one letter.

The more you know!!

@ WRS: Remember the note the boys found on Linney, which hinted at a group she was traveling with?? That is "teh secret organization". We have no idea who or why they are.
