You guys are really scaring me saying that this wasn't actually Dr. Corenthal.

You mean to tell me that Fake Corenthal/Habit would go to the great lengths of shooting Slenderman just for the sake of tricking Vince? (now it seems like a plausible idea actually)

I can see how it's not him when comparing this version to the one we saw in the storage warehouse. Does Vinnie have anybody helping him?

On a side note, why was he so scared when he saw the Candleverse people for the first time? I mean they look just like you and your friends but they're the first beings in a long time who don't want to kill you on first glance.

Where do we go from here? Do we warn Vince? Will he believe us? He saw the video of Evan trying to choke him so he know's Evan's crazy but that doesn't say he believes in the HABIT part.

I actually thought Dr. C was an older Evan from the future/trapped in Candleverse for 50 years/whatever until he started to refer to Vince as "son".

That's totally HABIT.

By the way, I haven't been here since the last video got posted. Did I miss anything in between?

Ya, I don't buy it guys. I get they both moved their arms out and talked slowly, and I did think it was HABIT before I recognized it was Corenthal, but I honestly think him being HABIT is kind of a stretch.

And I definitely don't buy Corenthal=Slender Man. Corenthal actually does mention Slender Man more directly in the Tribe Twelve crossover when he compares Milo's description of Slender Man to his kids drawings, but he's always alluded to in the Corenthal papers. Milo even mentions that "Man" made him jump off that tower, and HABIT listed "man" as one of the separate characters on the playing card things in Box 5. I'm pretty sure that's Slender Man.

For clarity: this theory is and always was just my opinion. I don't blame anyone for resisting it at all, because it's craycray.
In case there was confusion, I don't for one moment think Corenthal is HABIT. I think that in this instance, we see HABIT pretending to be Corenthal. There are plenty of reasons one could imagine as to why.
I am aware that gestures and grammar don't prove anything, but

Someone should ask Vince what month it is. Is it at all possible that he was in the Candleverse since the last time we heard from them? (If *I* was creating this game that would TOTALLY be the rationale.)

There was a lot of time/space overlapping in this video and I think that's how Vinny heard Alex's voice. I have two separate theories about it, leaning toward the first one.

1.)Has anyone seen the movie Poltergeist? After the little girl gets sucked in to the "in between dimension" , the family can hear her voice through the TV set, which the girl spent a lot of time staring at and claimed she could hear people through. I think Alex isn't actually dead. He's in an alternate dimension (perhaps the Candleverse, probably not.) and once Vinny picked up his air horn, it acted as a conduit of sorts. The reason nothing like this has happened before this is because Vinny was hopping around so much and the different dimensions/timelines were closer (for lack of a better word) than usual. Vinny only heard Alex (and perhaps Alex heard Vinny) when he picked up the air horn because it was so closely tied to Alex before he disappeared. I don't know if Alex is the brother referred to by (fake?)Corenthal (considering he isn't one of the original MT4 and the more obvious "brother" would be Evan or Jeff), but I do believe Alex is trapped in between/in an alternate dimension.

2.) The second theory that is biting at the back of my mind and I hope is not true, is that the voice we heard when Vinny picked up the air horn was merely an echo of Alex in the past. The residual memory of him, if you will. It wouldn't be the first time something from the past was replayed. And Alex always did have a thing for audio clips.

I think things get tricky when dealing with dual universes. It's tough to keep up with who's and whats and roles.

I don't want to delve into "evil mustached versions" of people(but I probably am anyways.



I totally agree with Fishie that the Dr C. we were presented with was totally not on the level. And yes, it certainly sounded like HABIT.

That said, I do wonder a bit about what happened at Baldpate in 2005. Both Habit's and Corenthal's story end there for five years.

I guess what I'm suggesting is that maybe things went down as it's presented in Maryann's notes and in the way that Cool Dr. C explained it. Dr. C somehow trapped/ got inHABITed, but was able to cross into the Candleverse and into the Sanctum(he uses that word instead of Sanctuary, right?)

I don't know where I'm going with this.
