Yeah... I looked. Didn't see anything obvious. I was convinced that he was by a tree during the driving sequence at one point, but I have since decided it was just a lump on the tree. (around 0:57, just above Ev's left shoulder if you want to check for yourself.)

We know that SM was nearby though, so maybe it was just a nudge towards that?

 		Apologies if someone's mentioned this, but I found Vin talking about uploading both parts to be very strange. Yes, for us there are two videos, ie. two parts, but for them it's just been one long continuous event. It didn't stop filming, and the second part picks up exactly where the first part finished.

Am I reading too much into this, and did Vince just pre-emptively know exactly where he'd be stopping one vid and picking up the next one? I just found that whole part of the conversation quite strange. If nothing else it's weird that mere minutes after an attack, Vince is thinking about how he's going to edit the upload. Seems kinda cold.

-That particular kind of distortion seems to be associated with Habit/the rake. I point to the leaked/morse video where Evan's talking to the chair.

 		I don't think the Rake has anything to do with HABIT. HABIT seems to have to do with Slendy, and the Rake... doesn't.
On a side note, do they refer to the Rake as such in-game? I can't remember.

He could have checked the body, sustained injuries of his own, had blood that was on the Rake that got on him, or had Jessie thrown at him. At least, those are what I can think of.

Evan's arms were COVERED in blood. I don't know if they were just being generous, but that didn't seem to be coming from the Rake. And I don't know how you could get that much of your own blood so evenly spread. It was nearly up to his elbows before it begane to space out a bit. Even if he checked Jessie's body, it wouldn't have been like that. Unless, you know, he were to...um, stick his hands inside a living being. Hopefully I'm wrong, but it's the only thing I can think of. Even if he were the one to kill Jessie (doubtful, unless a mercy kill) in a terribly grotesque way, I don't think he got that much blood a regular way. It looked like he dunked his hands in paint.
I put a spoiler warning over this for those of you who don't like blood. It's really not bad, but I know some people are somewhat sensensitive.

What did Evan mean by

I know Alex is a long exhausted topic, but what about him? I don't think he was close to Jessie, but they at least knew each other. How badly, if at all, will this affect him? Will Jeff even say anything? At this point, I won't blame him if he doesn't.

Anyone get a screencap of :50 or :54? Gets a clear shot of Evan to see the extent of his front and how much blood there is. About 1:30 for his back. I don't know why, but I just feel like it's needed for analyization or evidence or something.

I think Vin's definitely no longer sane... what he is doing makes some sort of sense to him, I'm sure. I don't think he means to appear callous or cruel, he's just become obsessed. It's also like he can no longer bear to view the world directly, just through the filter of a camera.

I can't help but wonder if the rake's appearance wasn't a way to distract Jeff and Vin from what was happening inside the house. Holding Jessie trapped until the rest of them could get there. Why would this even occur just when they are arriving to visit?

Maybe the "war" in the song's title actually referred to the war within Evan himself...actually fighting himself to stop himself from harming Jessie.

Or... so far, who has the rake actually hurt that we know of for sure - that we have hard evidence of? Alex (mildly) and Evan (badly). And it destroyed some of the information that Jeff had collected. Why, I wonder?

Edit: and the rake hurt Vinnie too. But not as badly as it seemed.


Anyway, I need to shut up and go back to lurking... sorry! Embarassed

I still say Vince could be in shock of a sorts! I could easily see me acting in a similar way. I mean, he didn't see the body, and I bet if he did, he would have freaked a bit more.

Also, as for the whole talking about uploading the second video, I kind of thought that was recorded later, like, by a day or something.

 		I don't think Evan killed Jessie. Given the fact that he was carrying a knife, were he to have hacked her apart, there would have been blood sprayed all over him, not just blood coating his arms. The Rake didn't appear to be bleeding when it attacked Vinnie, so I doubt it was Rake blood either. The only wound that I definitely spotted on Evan was what looked like some kind of a gouge on his back or something like that. You can see it when his back is to the camera, his shirt is torn and there's blood covering the area. I'd suspect that the arm blood is Jessie's; maybe Evan held her or rolled her over to check for a pulse or something. Though the way he described the murder made it sound more like there was little bits of her all over the house or something.


And now I'm kind of freaked out and nauseated thinking about that. This is why I don't watch slasher movies willingly.
