 		Thanks for the Alex-is-Rake clarifications. I got the "from another timeline" idea but was  confused about the tape recorder bit. Been a long, crappy day.

This is what I was trying to get at this morning. You put it so much better than I did. Smile 

On another note, how about a quick consensus of our own: We're going on the assumption that, within the context of EMH, the bags of blood are associated with Slenders, right? I know they're part of the original Slenderman mythos, but do you think we can safely rely on that for this story as well? 

If the answer's yes, maybe this helps us answer the "What happened to Lexi" question. Slender's presumed victims are Alex & Jessa. We saw bags after both of their disappearances, but not after Lexi's. The Rake leaves mauled bodies behind, so unless Evan is hiding a gruesome discovery, Lexi wasn't Raked. That leaves HABIT. After inHABITed Evan killed Nick, the body was just gone, probably left at Baldplate. So I'm thinking HABIT (but not necessarily an inHABITed Evan) is responsible for Lexi's disappearance.

This is a stroke of genius.

However, there's another bit that's been, so far as I've seen, overlooked. In order for this to work, the boys must, by necessity, exist in only one universe. Otherwise their consciousnesses would merge with other versions of themselves and they would possess memories that they shouldn't have, and they would slowly, but surely, go completely mad.

By extrapolation, of course, the Mining Town Four were likely under the same restriction, until they themselves found a way to remove themselves from the universes (a la Earth-2 Superman and Lois Lane, Alexander Luthor, and Superboy-Prime in 1985) and, thus, from the cycle and control of the Slenderman, Rake, and HABIT.

 		With all this talk of alternate realities, death, and memories, I feel as though a Higurashi reference is needed. But I'd never pull it off.

This makes sense to me. I'm comfortable with assuming it was HABIT that took her.

I support Alex-Is-Rake. Not surehow I feel about Infinate Alexes. Italics are necessary to express the sheer magnitude of this, haha. I kind of want to say I do just because. Smile

There is always room for Higu references. But if we thought in those terms... well, we'd need a pair of twins (AND/OR triplets, I still think there were three sonozaki children).

As far as HABIT taking Lexi... I don't see why he'd need to. I mean, it makes sense by process of elimination on account of killing/kidnapping methods with the other entities, but what would he gain from taking her away?

Well, Alex and Jeff looked like each other for a while there....

HABIT may have wanted a lack of outside interaction with the Vinny or Vinny told her something she didn't need to know. Or HABIT wanted to mess with him. Sometimes he's cruel because he can be.

 		Like some one else mentioned the splat on the passenger's side window looks like a Slendy to me too. The one on the window looks like one of those captcha's that I can never get right. Fake theory if we indeed want Infinite Alex's we need to solve the captcha first.

With the mini-memorial part does that mean that they can now see the hidden videos or is it HABIT playing around. My money is on HABIT trying to get us to go back and look at old clues. Are we still on the "keep your bodies breathing" thing or have I missed something since then? And if nothing new has come up, does that mean that the rabbits are somehow failing because we've lost another body?

EDIT: Because I can't type tonight.

Well I don't know. The only instruction we got was "KEEP YOUR BODIES BREATHING". There's not much to infer from it. I don't know what we're meant to do. I've emailed HABIT once or maybe twice. No response. So I'm not sure how we could have had this effect...
