On the topic of the bags, I've a tree I'd like to replant:

There's been two black baggings so far on camera. One right after Jessa went missing, now one after Alex goes missing. Because of circumstances surrounding the bags, the guys never say to us "Hey, that was Jessa/Alex dead in that bag."

What if the black baggings are something besides just "killed and stuffed in a bag?" After all, in totalitarian governments, black baggings mean someone is disappeared, removed from the scene.

What if the black baggings symbolize Slenderman removing game pieces from the board to somewhere else? Like the Candleverse. To keep them out of the way, but not to let his enemies use them against him.

I just want to say that Daniel should watch his back.

We've already seen what's happen to other minor characters we thought were not important...

To follow up on "domesticating" Habit. What if Corenthal was somehow able to 'banish' Habit to the Candleverse the day he disappeared in Baldpate. And somehow, the guys released him back into play in ADITL. I'd have to check, but I think Habit hasn't accounted for himself in that time period

What I find interesting about this idea is that perhaps the three do regard Corenthal as a threat, I think: or at least an annoyance.
In the previous iteration, the children were exposed to the three at an extremely young age...then Corenthal took them under his wing and their problems seemed to recede for a while.
But this time it seems like HABIT and the Man spent a great deal of our current protaganists' childhood keeping Dr. Corenthal busy (chasing rumors of the "Man" and then having him wanted for murder, etc) until they finally drove him to disappear into Baldpate park in 2006.
Then they could take their sweet time "priming" the four, so to speak.
I wonder if Corenthal will make another appearance... and how did he know to rent the U-store-it for so long? Did the Rake whisper secrets to Linnie too, and she passed the information to the doctor? Hm.

I just read a couple of pages back and;

Candle-where? when was this a thing? I know the story but I don't remember any references besides a staticy screen.

So, how are the Seven Trials going?
I know that ChildofAtom's still alive, as well as Rabbits #89 and #61.

... In fact, #89 led me to this site, so that's pretty cool.

Also, I just watched "Consensus". Poor Alex.

Definitely nails the idea that Jeff is "The Guardian" from Box five, if it's considered that "The Guardian shall lose his heart, then his blood." Jessa being the heart and Al the blood.

But what I'm REALLY wondering is this; What did Alex tell Jeff before the camera was shut off? What did the Rake tell Alex?

OH MY GOD YOU MADE IT LOL
And yeah. Those questions made it into at least one email that I know of. Hopefully a response will come. As for the trials, we're still on seven, with seven of us alive.

No, because what about us? Does Slenderman transfer everyone in the world? What would be the point? This also does not mesh well with the dual cosmology that we have right now (regardless of what the HOL says).

To the INFINITE ALEX theory (and similar ones): this doesn't make a lick of sense you guys. The Everyman annotations made it pretty clear that this is a cycle of reincarnations, not a Donnie Darko style logic loop. After the boys die, they are reborn, readying the world for another, greater cycle.
This theory doesn't account for the MT4/Fairmount incarnations either.
What's more, Candleverse Evan refers to Habit as a separate entity from himself, and at one point they all fight off run away from the Rake together. Assuming that the Candleverse is the location of their souls/true selves (which it seems to be), the HYBRIDS, The Slender Man, The Feral Other, and HABIT are all independent entities.
As much as I would love to make a bunch of jokes about Slenderman being a Manipulated Dead (Habit: Why are you wearing that stupid business suit? SM:Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?), this theory simply does not hold up against what we already know.

Also, Reduxist, next time please edit instead of double posting Smile

Maybe it isn't totally clear how or what Slenderman does exactly, but it's fair to accept it as is for now. Now knowing the particulars doesn't negate the theory.

So, like, what about the emails? Did you still want me to re-draft something or did Angora cover it? O.o
