Uhh, did I miss something? What emails?

Also, what time is the synchtube thing tonight?

I'm running the synchtube tonight, but I'm not completely sure what time I'll be getting back. I'm shooting to start between 7 and 8 PM EST. I'll post in here when I get back this evening to confirm a time.

It just came to me that Vinny is the only one of the three guys who doesn't have a video game to represent him.

Perhaps when he gets one it will be the key to blowing everything wide open.

Really? I would have assumed Jeff was Minecraft. He's even wearing a Minecraft tee in this video. Didn't Vince dress up as Alan Wake for Halloween a few years ago?

Out of curiosity – that was a *lot* of HABIT-filming. Do you think the boys can see it? Or is the video about two minutes long for them?

Thanks for pointing out that the action at the end was around a pool. I'd been trying to force it into being part of the pier location the boys teleported to when they explored the Baldpate house, but it just didn't feel quite right.

Double plus good on the music choice. I'd never have guessed that song was so ripe for recontextualization!

Does the shot of Jeff and a pill bottle on the floor lend credence to the idea that the boys have been dying and being revived throughout the series?

And speaking of revivification, should Jeff's "stop watching" cause us to take another look at the long-discarded "messages from the future" theory?

Well, given the pills and him trying to OD and how thoroughly depressed he seemed...when he said "just stop watching us" it didn't sound like he honestly believed it'd do any good, it was more of a resigned let-this-be-the-end. I don't think Jeff even CARES if he dies now...which was probably what the prophecy was going for all along, but. It does worry me that Jeff might just turn up dead. Or worse.

EDIT--I say "or worse" not with anything in mind specifically, but because with this sort of situation, I automatically assume death is not the worst thing that can happen.

Messages from the future or messages from the high avatar versions of the boys? The ones in the Candleverse?

Does Jeff saying something very similar to what CV!Jeff tweeted (theoretically) mean that the prophecies are past the tipping point and rolling downhill now? Our Jeff is coming closer and closer to the prophesied endgame that all the previous Jeffs already played out?

I'd assume it is just another indication that we're nearing the finale. So far, Jeff/Evan have fulfilled their prophecies, we've gotten hints towards Vinnie, and Steph...oh boy, I'm worried for Steph. As much as I'd love it to, her being pregnant is not going to end well...

Ah! Right! That's what the speculation was, thanks for the correction.

That sounds very, very plausible to me. It also reminds me that CV!Evan has to be kept in constraints.

Yeah, but plot-wise Jeff IS Alan Wake. From the looks of things he's well into the DLC at this point.

I'll take your word for it, having never played the game myself.
