just popping back in to clarify. one, my opinion is my opinion, and i can't help being really squicked by this pregnancy subplot. doesn't mean everyone else should be or that it's something i'm being overly sensitive about. it is what it is.

second, it was never explicitly stated that steph was raped. but, due to past posts on the cystw blog, it was a possibility. i'm really hoping it's not something that will happen.

third, the previous mentions of rape were equally disturbing to me. but since they were relegated to the side blog, i could try to pretend they didn't exist.

overall, while my previous post was made when i was rather...upset, what i meant in the end is that these tropes are ones i am uncomfortable with in a way that affect my ability to enjoy a work of fiction. it's not a dig at the creators or at the fans. i just really, really don't like them.

I don't see it. I'm not getting the vibe of anything being off with the pregnancy aside from nervousness of the coming child in these difficult times.

got some screenshots of habit and the drowning scenes:

i personally believe that the person drowning is evan. the way the nose is placed and the mouth, it looks a lot more like evan and the way the hair sticks up in the front and has no curves, it looks a lot more like evan than jeff. Habit's scene looks a lot like evan too, but is too blurry to tell.

in regards to the bioshock connection to Evan. would he be Jack the main character who doesn't know that he can be controlled by an outside source or Atlas, the man who's does the controlling behind the scenes?

So we've got Baghead in Evan's basement. The clothing might be similar to the other knife shots(with the biohazard one being, I'm pretty sure, Steph).

Goddamn it. HABIT is the most self-appreciating, confident showboat I've ever seen. It's something very admirable about him.

He shows footage of things the hybrids doesn't want us to see, he leaves hints everywhere about his identity, hell, he's just now shown us a silhouette which is the closet we've ever seen him on camera.

On the contrary, I think we've seen HABIT lots of times... he never was necessarily just bound to one body, and we still don't know for sure who or how many he's possessing now...

As a matter of fact, I wonder if this whole series was almost more about HABIT than the main characters themselves... we've all seen how much he likes self-aggrandizement, after all.

anyone else get the hint that maybe Jeff doesnt want to do the series anymore? and im talking from an OOG angle as well.

im getting the feeling that this video is supposed to be a gateway entry, something to set up the fresh updates to come. it almost indicates that there will be more updates out, and soon, but for some reason, i highly doubt it.....even though its my own opinion.......

This image is backlit using GIMP.To me--it is quite evident that this is Evan attempting to drown Vince.I have several other caps but this one illustrates fairly clearly (within the boundaries and limitations inherent in the image) Evans profile with his sharp nose and eyebrow line,chin,lips and even the arms.
Vince's has less notable 'landmarks' but his rounded nose is enough as far as I'm concerned.
Overall just going back over other footage and viewing the 3 in profile there is no doubt to ME that this is Evan attacking Vince.

So, I don't know if this has been pointed out or not, I'm still going through everything but it most certainly looks like there are to bodies in this scene. The one on the left reminds me of Evan by the colour of the pants. Not sure who the one on the right is, possibly Jeff. It appears to be wearing a beanie and Vince isn't once to wear beanies.

Anyways just a thought Razz
