I had the exact same thought and recently tweeted as much, including the quote. *sigh*

I'm also annoyed because I stayed up until 1am, expecting a middle of the night publish, like back in the old days.

I'm relatively new, having just been pointed to MT in the past couple months...but have been working my way through the archives, as it seemed like it was being resuscitated. Ah, well.

The "It's almost here..." message on the solved theorems page could at least go away.

Or an 8am drop like the last two...
Wonder if the new site http://www.themastertheoremgames.com/
is nothing but shilling for the kickstarter or if it will offer content of puzzley goodness

Did I miss something? I was refreshing the site all day (being 10/5 and all) and didn't notice any change, whether I was logged in or not...

It was just via email. Promo for a Kickstarter for a family-friendly offline word game.

Ha. 'M' or someone must read here. They changed the "It's almost here..." message to a link to the kickstarter.

… and now to "The next Theorem will be posted on Monday, October 10th. Start holding your breath. "
Personally, I think they really missed a trick with the 05Oct announcement;
posting a puzzle on that date with the name of the kickstarter game as it's answer (and the link in the shown solution page) would have been much better marketing... and an email announcing the kickstarter a few days later could have caught any who didn't solve it.
