Seems like the most obvious answer... then again, I don't want to make the mistake of only thinking in obvious directions...

If I were going to create a Craigslist ad, in order to get the attention of the Latitude Society, I would probably do something similar...

I guess when emails would come in, NOT from Latitude 'runners' - you have to do something, right? I actually haven't gotten a response to the email I sent one of the Craigslist ads...

Is the person answering them providing any specific plans or instructions? Seems to me that this person could likely be trying to draw out the Latitude... Or, perhaps, he/she is a part of some test, that fits into the bigger picture?

I would have to guess that as the Latitude Society opens/unfolds, that these forums would be monitored as well...

It seems, from what I've pieced together, that different people have emailed the same Craiglist ad - each with their own message... I wonder if the type of response (or lack of response, in my case) could be tied to the content of what message was sent to the Craigslist email... Does that even make sense? Rolling Eyes

I too, have received replies from the ad. Although, my replies led to an assignment of sorts. How can we verify whether this is part of the Game, or mere trickery of an outsider?

This is my first time doing anything like this, I saw the Institute on Netflix and was hooked. I emailed the craigslist ad as well and got a reply, but I'm just wondering what type of things people are saying when emailing, because I'm new to this and like...lost.

Can you post your email likr I posted mine. If they are indeed the same person they encouraged collaboration! Did your mission have to do with an ally or emailing someone with an aol email?

Mine mentioned an aol email, it was like trustartnow or something. It said this,

"I serve two purposes - one is gatekeeper: trustartnowSPLATaol.com

*The window is closing, the required agents are very nearly assembled for this project"

Then I emailed the AOL Email and got a response from Lance Canhon, it said,

"Friend, if indeed you be friend - apologies, as under normal circumstances, questions are wonderful things.

Unfortunately, there has been a breach in trust, and secrecy is, and continues to be, paramount. This path must, for the moment, become a dead end.

Keep your eyes open, there will be new signs of things to come, soon."

 		I got the same generic E-mail from Lance....

Can you all mention your projects? Or assignments. I am a bit confused, because my first E-mail encouraged me to work with others. The second seemed to say be secretive. I have no idea if this is a normal part of such games (it seems to be) or not! Did anyone here participate in the original Jajune experience?

I did receive those additional E-mails... I think they may be clues to explore that alley way? Am I over reading it, but it talks about dead ends multiple times, and exploring where others would not. I think that location could possibly be key? They keep mentioning to keep our eyes open. I just hope it is not something that is months/years away. Or a wild goose chase!

I wonder if the timing has anything to do with Pride which is this weekend in SF (perhaps the largest event in SF all year).

I also am just wondering about the time. Seems strange, maybe it has to do with the institute being on netflix? Does anyone know how long it had been on?

Well worse case we explore SF a bit!

 		I suspect that we have relieved too many details of responses here. Given the stress placed on secrecy in several places I have seen. I respectfully suggest that folks post leads (like craigslist ads, fliers, etc) here, but not any responses or even that responses have been received.

I may of course be wrong, but that is how I am reading the situation.

I know that they posted on their tumblr a little while back about the fact that the online resources would be short lived and to enjoy them while we have them, so I don't know if this would have much to do with them getting rid of the Craigslist ads or not.
