Honestly, the creators are people just like everyone else. They have times where they're burned out and can't do an episode for a while do to lack of creativity, time, family matters, etc.

But, there are SO MANY blogs and vlogs out there that you don't really have to wait on the more popular ones to update. Go get familiar with my Master list and browse through the categories and the blog itself. You'll be surprised at what gems you can find.

And as far as the movie thing goes. You're not going to do all that well if you're not all that well known to begin with and you won't make much money, if you do make money at all. It costs money to produce a series/film, the production costs (programs, effects, makeup, actors if you pay them, props, etc.), and the cost of putting that into DVD format. You'll be in the red :/ Question yourself: if someone really wants to do this, 1) do they have enough money to go through it, 2) do they have enough time to do a movie, 3) ... I forget where I was going with this because I had to stop to go to class >.>

BUT! The point is, if you intend to make a Slenders film and you don't have a big name, you're not going to do well or make much money :/

To be on topic: I don't mind waiting between videos. I've got a lot of time on my hands to wait, haha xD;

You've got a guy who can time travel. Not to mention shapeshift his appearance at will. If he REALLY wanted to 'get' Jay for example. Jay would already be dead or taken or whatever. I think we've ALL come to accept that WOULD be the reality. Once you do, you realize that these entries wouldn't happen either. So a movie would actually make more sense.
