[THEORY] Parallel Universe?

That is admittedly a possibility but it's really more of the kind of plot twist I think we would see in EMH where stepping between dimensions has been hinted at as part of Slendy's powerset. In Marble Hornets aside from teleportation we have yet to see any evidence that The Operator has those kinds of abilities...so I think it's more likely that everything is how it looks,Alex is presumed dead,T.O. hasn't been around in a while either,and Tim is leading a normal life.

That said,good theory I think I might like that twist if they went with if only to find out what has happened in the main M.H. universe while Jay was gone,I just doubt they'll go that way.

I think this theory is more in line with what is developing in A Pretentious Collection, and what occurred during the Angel's Game. Great series you should check out if you like the OP's.

It would be cool if in Season 3 Jay has to hop between universes in order to do... stuff. I'm interested but I'm afraid of MH starting to seem almost as complicated as EMH (one ARG that I hardly understand is enough).

2 things:
1) Tim attacking Jay as Masky in the hotel in Entry #33, and Jessica disappearing, happened chronologically after Jay attacked The Operator in Entry #52. So if you're right, there is a Masky in the parallel universe too. Oh, and I'm assuming The Operator sent Jessica to the parallel universe too, since she's there after the seven months. So in order for your theory to work, Masky must've been transported to their too. More importantly though...
2) Jay's "MarbleHornets" Twitter and YouTube would have to exist in the parallel universe too, as does the "totheark" YouTube. Jay can see all those things. But, if The Operator doesn't exist in that universe, why would those exist? And more to the point, if Jay is uploading entries and posting tweets in a parallel universe, why can we see it? Unless the audience has also been transported to the alternate universe, or if The Operator has turned Twitter and YouTube into some kind of inter-dimensional pool of Slenderness. I don't mean to sounds condescending, but I don't understand how that would work.

If that's the case, how are WE still getting his tweets and youtube videos? Unless twitter is some kind of inter-dimensional interloper, I think that plot development is pretty far fetched.

APC is incorporating that into their story as well. It's sort of meta.

I've thought of a similar theory, too.

The fact that Tim appeared okay in Entry #52, and Jay couldn't find any news articles on the bearded guy's disappearance, are the two bits of evidence that could imply that there are two universes.

The question I have still is: How would WE, the observers, who technically exist in MH, be able to see what's going on? How are we seeing his posts on twitter? Did WE go through to a different dimension too?

Another reason this theory doesn't work: Tim as masky attacked Jay(and presumably Jessica) in the hotel back in January 2011, which would have been AFTER the proposed universe jump.
