It seems that Stan warned Thurman ahead of time... And, now that I look back at A Second Opinion, I can tell that Thurman bashed Connor while he was coming IN the house... In other words, Connor never stood a chance. Thurman knew that he was coming, was prepared, and took down Connor before he even could realize what was happening.


In light of this recent information, I no longer believe what I said before about Connor being pathetic. He now has an excuse for losing.
And his tweets make much more sense, at least to me.

Hmm... The video doesn't mesh with that though.

The Aviary (I'm pretty sure that's the entity; I haven't watched The Abbey Diaries (YET)) clearly says to Connor: "At least your associate, Stan, gave me something interesting. That message was interesting. Deleting it was interesting. What you did was NOT interesting."


And Connor's recent tweets corroborate this story.

This AVIARY has helped AND hurt me. They erased Stan's warning about me, but they took Abbey in the first place...

I could just be misunderstanding it, but it looks like the Aviary got to the message before Thurman did and deleted it.

And so, we return to the point that Connor is simply bad at his job. x:

it ranslated the binary out to a string of letters that i cant access because the tab closed, and i'm not retyping all those 1's and 0's again, but it was really just "The wind blinded you to fear. Return, and you just might see." backwards, or something along those lines. the obvious answer, or at least the first thing to pop into my head, is that idolon wants stan to return to the alley. but that doesn't make much sense since this note was at the alley before stan even went there, so where could he possibly be meant to go?

Firstly, was anyone else a little creeped out by our little friend creeping in on Stan near the end? *shudder*

And secondly, the only place that I remember being excessively windy was the beach area where Kevin and Stan first began shooting the movie. Looks like we may be heading there soon-ish?

Seconding that the note references that windy area near the beginning of the series.

(I'm mildly frightened I remember that.)

And Slendy appearance. Methinks this is some sort of eldritch chess game between Slendy and Idolon, but to what end?
