Thirteen.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Looks like someone REALLY wants them to get the message. Notes left everywhere, wherever they go. Any thoughts on what the antibody is?

I think the gasmasky fits in with the whole antibody thing- treating Slenderman like he's biological warfare or something, that's kind of interesting to me, although I will grasp onto your second thought, and say...

That would be an interesting, albeit highly self-destructive, twist, if you made a Slender series, with Slenderman as the good guy.

OOH. What if you made Slenderman the good guy, but in the same way that the T Rex was (sort of) the good guy at the end of the first Jurassic Park movie? He comes in out of nowhere, saving our cute-as-can-be heroines from destruction (possibly by gasmasky, who is convinced that the only way to save them is to kill them).

Too gauche?

Disregard then.

just because he's the antibody doesn't mean he's a good guy Razz

Then to what would he (Slendy) be an antibody?

Antibodies are there to help, right? To cure you of an illness, or to help you not contract one in the first place, so if that's the case, what would the Besuited One be an antibody for?

it depends what they consider to be the disease. If it's humanity, or being a runner (as runners tend to share their stories, causing their "infection" to spread and allowing others to find out about slendy and get stalked) then slendy being an antibody makes sense.

And the "Antibody" seems quite a threatening title to me, anyway. It's more than a cure...more like a purge xD

I did not like the style that entry was filmed in but it does raise some really interesting questions.

So like what is the antibody? Is the antibody our Gasmasky friend or tall and slender? What is the cure? What are they being cured of?

I didn't mind the style. I took it as "Hey, we've been getting these messages that all say the same thing, but instead of giving you a fifteen minute video of us walking around and occasionally finding one, we're cutting together a highlight reel of every time we've found one."

So, I was okay with that.

Also, the idea of a runner- spreading the virus and infecting others, giving Slendy the chance to take others is an interesting thought. So the antibody would need to stop the virus, eg, the runners.

Which, to me, kinda negates the idea of Slendy being the antibody, since he would WANT them to spread him around to others.

Very good point.
This leads me to believe that our gas-masked friend isn't a proxy at all, and more like an aid of sorts?..just an aid more interested in the greater good rather than the lives of our protagonists
