Having just gotten back from both Forbidden Planet and St. Marks Comics I can confirm that both of those bags were retrieved yesterday. No one at either place remembered anything about who got them, and no one had looked inside.

I'm bummed... I was hopeful that some miracle had occurred and that the NYC ones were still up for grabs.

If they go with the "Ultimate Spider-Man" version of peter's parent's, which it looks like they are, then Richard Parker was working on a cancer cure (I think that's right) that resulted in the creation of the Venom symbiote. It ties nicely with the lines from the trailer about Peter retrieving part of his dad's work.

Very awesome photos Guestuser17, many thanks for being so in depth.

I like how everything has some connection to Pete in one way or another. I was curious about the safety goggles but they make an appearance in the trailer when he is testing the web shooters in his room. You can see him hiding behind a desk chair wearing them. Smart Parker, safety first!
