Could the second letter actually be a Q? As in "Equie-Jet," a made-up airline?

I already posted about that possibility earlier - with the letters we know, if the second letter is a Q, a real word that would fit would be "EQUIP"

I have to agree with those who say it could be a made up name, that's why I left it red on my grid there was no way to be certain of a brand name until we have all the letters sorted.

I really wish there was more I could do to "solve" the page, but geez... There really isn't anything more I *can* do than just theorise and wait for more updates.

... I miss the puzzles and clues that came with the phases and stuff Sad

Hahahahahaha!!! Someone just made a point that I didn't notice before, but San Francisco was misspelled on /rigor. They have San FranSisco. Ouch to whoever's supposed to be spell checking.

It's too bad that whoever was making all this stuff likely isn't reading this forum. Hell they might not even be paying attention to the twitter feeds.

I did tweet them the link here along with the deciphered page a couple times in the last two weeks. I'm sure they know about this site but they would have to make a decision to change the code half way through. They have done it in the past with other games when the codes were wrong or no one could figure it out but this time it is just cosmetic. Either that or they intentionally did it that way.
Here is the latest page I have filled in. The only thing I had different was 1989 vs. 1999 but that could go either way. I think at this point we wait until next week. Times and locations are all confirmed now. Flight numbers are the only thing left.

So the times go from 1 pm to 4 pm EDT in 15 minute increments, except for 1:45 and 2:45. Still don't know any way to fit the flight numbers to any form of location. Perhaps it is a way to identify a twitter handle? How were the backpack locations provided?

Locations of backpacks were tweeted as "Peter Parker property lost at xxxx" with specific GPS coordinates. I do not recall any hint that they were coming however.

San Francisco Fixed!

It looks like they silently put out a fix this evening for the spelling of San Francisco. Nothing else seems to have changed. The filename even remained the same.

Good to know. Can't help but notice that they fixed it only shortly after I commented on that for the first time. I'm sure the timing is a coincidence, but it certainly helps me feel like I'm involved again Razz

Congrats - it is EQUIP-JET based on today's update. Now what's an equip jet? I mean what's the purpose of these places and times and flight numbers?
