First of all, whoever this Spiral is, I doubt we want to be giving him the link to the Janus Archive.

Second of all, everything is going crazy and I don't know what it means. Seriously. Pages are being renamed, the home page is updating, things are being added. Its madness.

EDIT: It's also updating with all of the ciphers that are used for each page, which should make it fairly easy to decode the ones we haven't done yet.

I have no intention of helping Spiral, but a the point I agreed to help him/it/whatever, he was a near complete unknown. Talking with Spiral and Fred helped me feel out a bit more than I think they'd want me to know about Spiral.

For starters, he/it can be beaten. Wallace beat it once by warning me. Whether that was him responding to my terribly planned message or just thinking I was legitimately willing to help Spiral, it proved Wallace isn't completely pacified yet. And THAT means on some level he's still aware of what happens to his body.

We know that Sun considers this thing a threat and that its ENOUGH of a threat that he doesn't want his men to fight it in a fair fight. I didn't think telling him would risk Wallace's life, but at least I was able to stall for time. Sorry for alerting him to Wallace's dangerous condition.

Also, great job with the Archive! I think we're supposed to slowly yet steadily restore it to full capacity...

Alright, I have no idea what is happening.

Whatever is going on with Spiral and all that seems to have affected the Archive and made it freak out. Or something. Whatever happened, it seems to be fixed now. At least temporarily. And for some reason, all of the zone exits opened. So...here's the four zones we were missing:

Just so no one duplcates any effort the Vigen�re key for http://janusarchive.wikidot.com/ja647x0l is "jaffaquarrel" & that gate is a painting of the Brandenburg gate (Ja1817r1228s). The gate for http://janusarchive.wikidot.com/ja713y543v is the "Amsterdamse Poort" in Haarlem NL (Ja790h609s).

In http://janusarchive.wikidot.com/ja665k0s Sungnyemunangel & Hadrianusbetrayer are Vigen�re keys with likely another. The gate seems important. It's Rodin's "La Porte de l'Enfer"/Gates of Hell (Ja2825u2127s-jpeg is dportal) with the word buch (book) below. Maybe refers to Dante's Inferno? Will check this thread now & then.

Oh hey there. "Green" is the password for missing-reply-dt.zip. Even when he is being controlled by an evil incursion into our universe, Wallace is still super helpful! Nice going, Zobot!

A quick Google search doesn't reveal anything. The repeating background makes me think that the PM created the image, although he might not have written the text himself. Also note the reference to D.E.R.N. (which was one of the 3 Present Keys).

I'm still slowly working my way through these new zones. I'll post my thoughts so far when I have more time.

EDIT: Two quick things to add. I'm not sure they are really important for anything, but I thought they were cool. First, the yellowish images that are spread throughout the Archive can be combined to form this thing: http://i.imgur.com/ZvOnm.jpg

...I have no idea if its oriented correctly, but the pieces fit together, so that's neat.

Second, I had a hunch that this would be the case, but I just confirmed that the page names of the 9 images at the bottom of each page from each area anagram to COMPONENT.

I found the key (24) for Present #2 (Ja459w0k) because it was the only number that wasn't listed when you deciphered all those words in the bottom rights of the pages. It unlocks pps.zip, a text file that contains the following:

Props on that "pps.zip" find, Fuzzy! The EightyOne.mp3 (Ja3480k2800l) contains a hidden cipher in its ID3 tags which is solved with the new 8th key for Ja665k0s.

Hi Booba, nice hols! Missing Wallace has an update with a Janus Zones Grid attached below for easy reffy. It's similar to Fuzzy's. Myself, I thought since the archive is a "4D Construct" the "earth" zone (Ja665k0s) which doesn't pair/mirror up would be "in a place where there's no space & time"...like the Elton John song. Laughing
