There is a slight problem with tonight's VIP meet and greet. I got into Toronto early and was planning on hanging out at Victory Cafe (the venue) until start time. However when I got there, I asked one of thr staff to confirm that the event tonight was still a go. He had no idea what I was talking about, neither did his manager, and they have nothing for later tonight in their reservations.

I honestly hope this is planned, because otherwise I will be pissed on having wasted a whole day and non-insignificant cash to come down for the event.

I'm currently trying to run interference between "ByoLogyc" and the cafe staff, all while running around trying to find wifi to do any of this. And trying to return a woman's wallet that I found. Cause this day isn't already busy enough. >_<

Well that was an eventful evening :)
So much drama, can't wait until more story moves along... Felt like tonight was more focused on character development than story. Lots of inter-personal relations becoming apparent. Applause to the team for the event planning (especially if the appearance of bad planning was indeed intentional ;) )
Looking forward to all that's still to come; and really hope that all you who are invested in ByoLogyc but non-locals get your time in the sun too! :)

Hold up for Eggz' recap of the evening - she's got lots to share apparently (I missed all the drama from the first half, arriving over an hour late, boo)

Also, awesome surprise to unexpectedly meet Eggz in the face! :D Twas a pleasure! Hope the trip for this little event from Ottawa was worth it! See you next week :)

ETA: I did nab a couple of extra keyfobs, but there weren't many, and with the sensitivity of everything there at the moment, I didn't risk pushing to take more =P Not sure if there were any extras at the end anyway. I'm sure there will be more in the next 3 months :)

hey guys,

i haven't been actively playing because ive been busy pm'ing my own game but i did go last night: here is my recap, keep in mind I know next to nothing about the story going in

i was invited to sit at the vip table to listen to davian and chet speak...davian was a bit of a mess: super nervous about something..he was all sciencie so i didn't really pay attention, but he did make a deal about "hopefully less rats will die in testing" OR SOMETHING to that effect

chet took over and was suave as usual and mentioned in 6 months there would be a worldwide reduction in infectious diseases, and in a year reduction in chronic? diseases

i tweeted that (on @kulturvulturz), but apparently i wasn't supposed to, it is all hush hush until the official launch; when I told davian he seemed pretty upset; he left soon after -- not sure if that was related

marie, i have no idea what department, wanted my opinion on their media package but was insistent we take no photos, i kept trying but there were constantly hovering over me

later when the bruce0 was looking at them i managed to take a picture but got caught by marie, i said i was just testing my camera and she wanted to supervise me deleting it; i pretending dropbox was the garbage can icon--she didn't really buy that but when i deleted it off my camera (not dropbox) she accepted that I did -- will post it later, but not very visible -- it could get marie in trouble regardless if it gets out

then they had me have a one and one with chet, and we just shot the breeze about his grand plans for byologyc for the future; i pressed him on how is it possible that byologyc can fast track past the bureaucracies of the all the governments -- and he brought up their reputation, trust, etc, and this has been in the works for a long time; when i mentioned davian had spoken in his speech about the current experiments, chet assured me they were merely cosmetic and had no bearing on any red-tape

everyone was very keen on getting me hooked up with tyler so i could work with him once i said media was my specialty...but no one knew where he was tonight -- and they kept saying things: oh you know what's tyler like

i spent most the night gossiping and flirting with brad, who is a big flirt by the way-- ahahaha (not just with me!!! he even hugged the girl who doesn't like to be touched and hands everyone wetwipes!!)....he brought up being stuck in a freight elevator during the vandalism at the factory; since he's production and distribution he had to burn all the product affected as it cannot be distributed

brad was also upset that davian had dissed an appointment or man-date or something they had set the day before he was stuck in an elevator, and to this day doesn't know what davian was up to

dahlia talked to dennis?? in the hallway at one point, and then FREAKED out, and then most the rest of the night people managed to keep them separate...later that night, she talked to him again, quietly, and i couldn't hear what was going on: then she walked away and either passed out? or had a little meltdown and just laid on the floor

everyone said she had been through a lot this week

bernice kept a strong face for the company even when i asked some pretty tricky questions, she was pretty sly at turning any possible negative criticism into a positive front for the company

olive was missing most the night as well and only showed up after chet left, and then was pretty fixated on him being gone; brad insinuated to me that olive slept her way up to her current position

brad has a bit of a self-esteem issue when it comes to chet and can't understand why chet won't play golf with him; as chet was leaving i shook his hand on camera and got him to commit to a golf game with me and brad: SO I EXPECT TO HIT THE GREENS ANY DAY NOW

going to try to make it to next weeks event, but i also have another friend's launch to go to -- but i had so much fun last night, it's making the choice really hard

and just remember: YOU CAN PLAY MORE THAN ONE ARG at a time....ahahahaha *that's all the pimping I'll do teeheehee
