That's a little harsh don't you think? Felicity and her team were the backbone of the event; You don't see it everyday, but without it everything would collapse. She's just getting pissed that for all the work her and her team did before, during and after each night they never got a sliver of acknowledgement. She's just trying to get someone to say "Hey, we couldn't have done this without you."

Admittedly, the #27 comments might have been in poor taste for our point of view, but we don't know much about Felicity's and Marie's interactions. They could be chummy and she's using that as an inside joke (unlikely, but maybe).

Think about it this way: How pissed would be if all your hard work for an entire month was credited whole-sale to someone else, and you didn't even get a pat on the back?


I (@pbemaddy on Twitter) must take much of the responsibility for the bad feelings referred to above. In an attempt to be supportive of Marie in-game, I inadvertently implied she should get all the credit for the increase in online VIP's from the Launch. I had no intention to disrespect all the good hard work Felicity and her team put into the event. I have apologized directly/privately to her, and things are now good between us. As Eggz says above, we as players can't fully comprehend the relationships both in and out of character between the staff members... and it is admittedly challenging for us to discern sometimes what is in- and what is out-of-game!

For sure, different gamers play with different styles/perspectives. I myself am pretty much the same as I am in real life - a peacemaker, encouraging teamwork, looking for the best in everyone. For example, here I try to behave as professionally as I would as if I were an intern in a real company; so if I saw/heard management squabbling/disagreeing, I wouldn't get up in their faces, take sides, or stir the pot. Shocked

Of course many of us know the pre-determined downward trajectory of ByoLogyc, ultimately, per the plot! But I for one prefer to leave that process mostly up to the writers and actors, who have been doing a superb job.

Well, in a way, this makes me want to out myself in how I am playing the game, even from this distance... but I don't want to curb anyone elses enthusiasm if they'd rather get that in game, not that I'm very visible (or at least I don't think I am...), so I'll hold off unless someone actually asks me. But I do appreciate your perspective and I personally just feel like this all adds to the tension and drama, which is why I am playing.

pretty much this.. i play a little differently in a sense that i like to probe everything and anything and there has been a time in the past where felicity has had to change her company name because i just probed into the company, but like you mention its extremely hard to determine what is and what is not game related, for all i knew at that point her company could have been the one that was recieving the stolen funds re the bernice email!, so i do agree that sometimes lines are blurred, However i was of the opinion that real life twitter accounts were not the same as game twitter accounts as in they all had different "actual" names.

i know its not possible for everyone to get on and be all friendly friendly but i think its important to respect other people and how others want to play the game, for example eggz is good friends with some of the staff and rich is also and that seems to get the information, my direct aproach however gets me the same info perhaps maybe not way its ment to be extracted but thats how i choose to play the game, I favour my in game relation with chan, and while hes not popular, i do manage to get a substantial amount of information from him.

I dont think your personally responsible rich, i dislike people being treated like a number, it brings back bad memories in my personal life which dont need to be recounted here on a public forum, but i think i took a severe dislike to that, if she would stop calling marie by a number it would improve my view of her tenfold.

this is just my opinion and how i choose to play the game, in the end we rely on everyones information imput and hope to get the same result in the end, by working together as a whole.

On a related note, I'm happy to announce the results of the ByoRenew VIP Challenge: 5 boxes were unlocked, and consequently all VIPs are entitled to 5 free months of ByoRenew. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen production discrepancies, the launch of ByoRenew has been postponed until the fall. We will inform you when it is possible to order the product.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and look forward to continuing our work with you in early August.
