I was browsing some old EverymanHybrid videos the other day and came across this video as well. It's the first video for their channel but it seems to be going pretty well. I've never seen Slenderman introduced that way and hope they continue this uniqueness.

 		Are we sure this is the start to a Slendy vlog and not just a prank? Or did the guys actually trailhead this?

EDIT: Don't get me wrong, I think it's pretty good if this is a start to a vlog, but I don't see anything that hints to it doing that.

 		It sounds like he stumbled on it so it might just be a prank that looks kinda like a slender man vlog.

Edit: I don't mean to say I don't like it, it's to early to say one way or another.

 		The guy getting pranked sounds like he's acting when he walks in the apartment and when he mentions a guy in the corner of the basement. Of course, that could just be how he naturally talks, I guess. I've subscribed though as I think if this turns out to be a vlog, these guys could do something good.

When you're making a simple face to camera vid, the lighting doesn't really matter. When they're making a "holy ****" video that's where the lighting really counts.

I remember there was one vlog on youtube a while back (can't remember the name) but the when the main character was doing talk to straight to camera vid's you can barely see the guy's face it was so dark.And plus why would they go nuts with audio or lightning when they're trying to show you that it's just really kids doin all of this? They look like they're still in high school so they technically still have tons to learn (in-story).

Think of it this way. ASlendy-vlog is like a newly published comic book. Do you quit reading the comic at #2? Usually you read the first arc and see where they're going.

Yeah! I'm also an aspiring filmmaker (as a hobby though) who DOES know about lighting and audio, and even then do I not judge the series on these factors. It's very nice when a series does get lighting and audio well, but not a necessity (unless you're trying to make slenderman apparent in a night scene, in which case lighting is an important factor).

 		It was definitely a good first video, with a brief and coherent enough look at Slendy to let us know what this vlog's really about.

That being said, the second video was rather disappointing, but I believe they were just setting up the premise for the rest of the series. Hopefully, it will start to pick up on the third video.

There's definitely plenty of room for improvement in this series, but it's enough to at least get me interested.

I don't think the fact that they don't know lighting or audio isn't that bad... they did say they are aspiring to be film makers, maybe they just haven't had the proper teachings yet, or they don't know how to work that with the equipment they have? After all, the prank was pretty nifty, and this can turn out to be a good story... I think someone should step in and offer some help to them, as they did ask for it. I was going to ask my sister, who is a producer at the Armed Forces Network, if she can contact them and help them out.

Bleh, idk. The first video was AWESOME, but to follow it with... that... honestly pissed me off. Everything from the forced coughing to the obvious ways to solve Jake's problems (he doesn't want people to see the video, he can delete it. If he wants help on his project, use wikipedia) It's late so I apologize if I'm speaking incoherently, but honestly, this video already ruined what could've easily been the start of something great.
