That's really weird if you're in the US. I'm literally on the other side of the country almost as far as you can be and got mine today. Most of you in the US will probably get yours tmrw

All postal services hate me. A parcel sent express from a town less than an hour from here, on Thursday, still hasn't shown up.

I wanted them to use this shot for the DVD cover: It was an important part of S2, it's dramatic, and it fits so perfectly onto a DVD cover...

would have been awesome for the back cover

just finished all the commentary, was pretty great. didn't like how they didn't point out slendy in the woods in entry 48 or tim peeking out the (barn?) window in entry 52

was a great commentary though. also they fixed the 'watch ring' thing in the credits to say "watchiing" with two i's (so is it still typo'd?)

i'm also fairly certain at this point that those "eye holes" we keep seeing are supposed to be hoody. on the dvd in the bloopers you can see entry 45 and his eye sockets look perfectly round, totally reminded me of the "two circles" we keep seeing in the tta videos

The main problem with using a still from a video as a DVD cover is that it would have to be upscaled to the point where it would be too blurry to look in any way professional. I do agree that image would make a great cover, though.

My decision to do the outer cover based on Alex's drawings was the fact that said drawings are an important element to the series as a whole. It also bears a bit of resemblance to the first season's box, but a little "crazier".

If it seems like a lot of stuff from the S2 box refers more to the first season than the second, it's because I designed the covers only a few entries into S2. If I'm hired again to do the third season's box, I'll be sure to do something that embodies the whole season and has a little more movement to it.

Also, to respond to some more of the OP's comments:
The advertisement was something that I presented as an option, and I guess they chose to keep it. I think it's pretty justified; if you ask me, the backs of the DVDs need a link to the website so people will know where the other seasons can be found. It doesn't have nearly as much clutter as a mainstream DVD release, at least Razz

As for the 2 on the side, I was just trying to match the 1 on the first DVD as closely as possible.

Why did I make this post? I'm not entirely sure. But I did.

Mine arrived today. I'm in the UK.

When I get home from work I'm going to cook a massive bowl of pasta, turn the lights off and watch the whole thing from Season 1 to the end of Season 2. In the dark.

YAY!

That bodes well for me, I was expecting to be waiting another couple of weeks at least for UK delivery. I tend to have shitty luck with deliveries though...

Mine arrived. I made that video of me unboxing it and stuff.

I just got finished watching it, and I was laughing to tears throughout the commentary. It was just brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

The Kralie Hornets trailer (that's what I'm calling it) kept me laughing throughout, oh my god. The bloopers, too. The twitter posts were kinda hard to read, though.

Overall, I'd say this is definitely better than the first DVD, but I honestly like both very much. I prefer this one's 'disclaimer,' for sure.

It was, like.. "Disclaimer: The audio in the commentary and interviews on this DVD contain swear words." Paraphrasing. o:
