Sorry, my computer skills aren't quite good enough for me to attempt that, but please feel free to do so. If you do, you might also want to add that the total # of Earth-based and off-world employees shown in module 2.5 adds up to 837.228, not the 837.43 million shown.


i made the necessary update to the total number of employees discrepancy.

however, how were you able to get 837.228? the numbers add up to 837.43 for both the information page and the jpeg.

maths breakdown:
619.698 earth-based + 217.73 off-world = 837.428 rounded to two significant digits equals 837.43.

(strange that earth-based is three significant digits. it makes stats data inconsistent but more true when rounding up.)


Sorry, you're right about the totals; I wrote one of the digits down wrong. Embarassed


total shot in the dark, but in the beginning of Alien, the planet the visit is on/near the outer rim (UK's twitter reference), and the signal they received had something to do with the number 12, I think it was being sent every 12 seconds or minutes?

Anyway, does any of the data/numbers we've compiled have anything to do with the number 12? My math skills are awful, but I figured I'd throw it out there for the number crunchers.

 		The Derelict signal repeats every 12 secs.

Also, Ripley gives the RA/Dec coordinates for LV-426. And as some observed here a few days ago, there is a missing detail re: Antarctica, which is traffic control that Ripley tries to initially hail.

These errors..there is no way that they can be accidents. There are way too many of them for a genuine QC issue.

Let's hope so...

Sorry for talking to myself, but I just tried to see if I could record the audio from Google Voice going to my cell phone. No luck. Google Voice returns a message that it can't connect to the number (even though it's being dialed by my cell). iPhone doesn't allow apps to record phone calls. Anyone with an Android phone want to try?

 		On the timeline, the entries for 5/28/2039 and 5/14/2039 are in an incorrect order (5/28 should be above 5/14, as the timeline works down).

Are we really sure that these errors are signifigant? Some have been fixed, but sure would like to know if they're meant to be there.

Prometheus Bound (not bound) because the sculpture is based on the greek tragedy.

From wikipedia:
In the Greek Tragedy, Prometheus Bound translated by G. M. Cookson, Hephaestus is to bind Prometheus "to the jagged rocks in ADAMANTINE bonds infrangible."

 		Well considering I'm much better at visual clues then numbers I think I'm going to bow out for now.

Also did anyone look at the outside edge of the pictures of space on the headings? I'll just say that there's a difference between the two heading pictures.

Also the ONLY concreate lead is that Y U Ta Ni can be made out of the elements. I'm actually pretty serious about this now. It is madness that it's been overlooked. It's the INVESTOR page and YUTANI is mentioned in the timeline.

Okay, looking a couple of the paintings there depicting Prometheus being bound, I noticed that the god Hermes is in them, looking pretty amused. So did some research on Hermes, and found the following interesting facts:

"As an aside, Prometheus and Hermes, both considered trickster gods, both have a claim to the gift of fire. Hermes is credited with discovering how to produce it."

 		I have been trying to keep up with this thread and look into some stuff during my spare time at work.

One thought I had about the element list -> What if it's some type of keypad? Maybe there is a numerical order derived from the discrepancies we have been finding. I haven't had any time yet to do the math with some of the items. Maybe the numbers are the element number and once figured out you click the order and it runs a script to redirect to a new page.

Anyway, I'll keep digging when I have the time and try to contribute anything of value I find.

And btw, I'm Cropduster....nice to meet you. Smile
