That means, "go back to school and learn how understand charts"

Here is an interresting article named "Big Things Have Small Beginnings: An Assortment of "Minor" Methodological Misunderstandings"

http://jom.sagepub.com/content/28/3/339

There is a paper named: "Examining the Relation Between Ethical Focus and Financial Performance in Family Firms: An Exploratory Study"

I THINK THAT WE HAVE A HINT THERE Very Happy

First chapter is about family:

in WI website: "Weyland engineers have been working around the clock to bring you the newest, most advanced addition to the Weyland family. Stay tuned for a special announcement."

All keywords:

ethical focus, firm performance, family firms, American Family Business Survey, AFBS, family involvement

... and there is a family named "Shaw" too inside Smile

Well, they have ben saying this since day one. Why would we expect it to suddenly mean something today?

just a thought, the "big things have small beginnings" line has me thinking. It makes no sense for an actual (albeit fictional) marketing campaign, and i think that means its most likely a clue.

ive been looking into big bang theory stuff, but nothing pops out yet as significant

also, the beginnings portion got me thinking about creation in general, and creation myth, and the whole "prometheus made man out of clay" deal, and its parallels to David makes me think that theres probably something there.

but idk.

Big Things Have Small Beginnings

I've been lurking all this time because I've had nothing to contribute, but I'm wondering about the phrase they've tweeted a few times now, "Big Things Have Small Beginnings."

Does anyone know how the idea for the android David 8 came into being. The 1st android. The technology that caused androids to start being produced or Weyland industries first product?

Those could be the answer.

Feel free to trout me if this has been said previously but i have just worked out what the communication frequency is.

73

WCCF-73 stands for (i believe) Weyland Corporation Communication Frequency-73

Again, if this has already been said then slap me with the biggest fish you can find Smile

I haven't seen them tweet it before, and the game's kind of ground to a halt, so...

'big things have small beginnings.' is a quote from lawrence of arabia. sir peter weyland is quite a fan of it.

and, also sir ridley scott is producing a female version of lawrence of arabia starring angelina jolie: http://livingincinema.com/2011/11/17/angelina-jolie-attached-to-star-as-female-lawrence-of-arabia-for-ridley-scott/
kind of a shout out to that upcoming work-in-progress project.

If the recent "Big things have small beginnings" is an ARG "helper" clue, then it would seem to be David-centric thanks to the viral video about him.

One could even say the thumbprint photo is rather symbolic of this phrase, in that the tiny W logo on his thumb speaks volumes about David's creation by Weyland, and his ultimate purpose for existing.

If that tweet was a helper clue, I'd suggest focusing on all David's info and stats listed on the website for more clues to yield a new hidden URL and/or a login password to reveal the 4th photo on PP.com. If nothing else, the PMs might be helping by narrowing down *where* we should dig for clues amid all that WI data on the site. "We won't hand you the answer, but focus your attention here for best results" perhaps.

I suggest starting with all those number stats about the previous David models.

Have any of our math whizzes tried calculating/detecting a numerical pattern in how the Tech/Intellect/Physical/Emotional stats vary (increase) from model to model?

If a math trend could be found (think Fibonacci sequence, etc.) then maybe we could predict what David 8's stat numbers would be in those categories — and that line of stats might be the new numerical URL hidden on the site as before.

Wild idea.

Well, David is the one who says"big things" in the trailer- right? Seems to be looking at his finger at the time- so the W fingerprint.

I'd say it's a good idea. I'm on it now.

He also says it in the David 8 video, at the end of it.

EDIT: Growth rate % is measured like this: (Xb - Xa) / Xa * 100, where Xa and Xb are initial and end value respectively. Check the pic I've attached, with the calculations I've made. Notice the differences between the David 7 on the site, and the discrepancy from the downloadable picture. By looking at the numbers you can tell it's heavily inconsistent with the normal growth rate the other sections exhibit. In fact, the most inconsistent period is between David 1 and 2, in the other cases the growth seems normal.

Also, notice the following: the Emotional growth rate between David 6 and David 7 is exactly the same as the one between David 1 and David 7 from the downloadable picture, 4,35%. This can't be a coincidence.

Yep to both of you. That's why I was suggesting the next clue might focus on David.

Then again, the two previous tweets were about historical achievements in space, so the David angle could be a wild goose chase. The PMs just might be keeping tweets and FB updates current in feeds to keep the movie's name out there, and their contents aren't clues at all.

But I think those David 1-7 model stats are there for a reason. Think but can't prove, so far.

Is it just me but perhaps the two section labeled NULL are based somewhat on Maslow's hierarchy of need or Freud' Structural Model (id, ego, superego).

Desire and Social maybe key to David 8 and unlocking the next clue that pertains to showing WCCF-73: MODULE B
