There's definitely a problem with Chrome displaying the timeline, as I thought it began on December 15 2037 but have just opened it up in IE and it starts there in 2015 with 'A Truly Renewable Energy.' Anyone got an entry that predates that?

Yeah, funny, I have the same problem, but just today.
Yesterday, Chrome displayed the whole thing. An indication an update was made?

I use Firefox, and I haven't noticed any kind of change. It's probably a rendering problem.
Also I'd like to figure this out without bruteforcing it, since the answer could be more compelling than just having someone telling it to me... Here's hoping I remain optimistic though, eventually I might get anxious.

Yeah, no nevermind, restarting the browser made it work better, even if it still struggles to get to the bottom. Nothing worth going crazy about.

And I would definitely be disppointed if it were found with brute force. So annoying cos we know we already have it, in some form.

Ok, just scroll up and down very quickly. Shake that vertical transport bar!
Should fix it.

Some real facts about those planets: (I still can't believe these guys put so much effort into this)

Quote:
Gliese 581 c (play /ˈɡliːzə/) or Gl 581 c is a planet orbiting the red dwarf star Gliese 581.[2] It is the second planet discovered in the system and the third in order from the star. With a mass at least 5.6 times that of the Earth,[1] it is classified as a super-Earth (a planet of 1 to 10 Earth masses).[3] (...) In astronomical terms, the Gliese 581 system is relatively close to Earth, at 20.3 light years (192 trillion km or 119 trillion miles) in the direction of the constellation of Libra.[6][7] This distance, along with the declination and right ascension coordinates, give its exact location in our galaxy. It is identified as Gliese 581 by its number in the Gliese Catalogue of Nearby Stars; it is the 87th closest known star system to the Sun.[8]

Quote:
Gliese 581 e (play /ˈɡliːzə/) or Gl 581 e is an extrasolar planet found around Gliese 581, an M3V red dwarf star approximately 20.5 light-years away from Earth in the constellation of Libra. It is the fourth planet discovered in the system and the first in order from the star. (...) At a minimum mass of 1.7 Earth masses,[1] it is one of the least-massive extrasolar planet discovered around a normal star, and thus the closest in mass to Earth. At an orbital distance of just 0.03 AU from its parent star, however, it orbits further in than the habitable zone. It is unlikely to possess an atmosphere due to its high temperature and strong radiation from the star.

Quote:

Two extrasolar planets, Gliese 667 Cb (GJ 667 Cb) and Gliese 667 Cc (GJ 667 Cc), have been found orbiting Gliese 667 C.[10] (...) GJ 667 Cc was described as one of the best candidates yet found to harbor liquid water, and thus, potentially, support life on its surface.[12] A detailed orbital analysis and refined orbital parameters for Gliese 667 Cc were also presented.[6]

So that means it's another reference to Phaėton, aside from the one we had from Eridanus:
.

Phaeton went to his father who swore by the river Styx to give Phaeton anything he should ask for in order to prove his divine paternity. Phaeton wanted to drive his chariot of the sun for a day. Helios tried to talk him out of it by telling him that not even Zeus (the king of gods) would dare to drive it, as the chariot was fiery hot and the horses breathed out flames. Phaeton was adamant. When the day came, Helios anointed Phaeton's head with magic oil to keep the chariot from burning him. Phaeton was unable to control the fierce horses that drew the chariot as they sensed a weaker hand. Zeus was forced to intervene by striking the runaway chariot with a lightning bolt to stop it, and Phaėthon plunged into the river Eridanos"

Eridonas also 'Eridanus'

The Constellation of Eridanus is represented by a river

ANyway, yeah, it's far out, but then again, if you were writing this story, would'nt you want to do at least this much research?

Also, i'm learning cool stuff about stars, what more d'you want ^^

Well yeah, they could've used made up names and stats, instead they went for real planets with real locations, which is pretty cool.
Also all this talk about rivers made me wonder if this could have anything to do with the Milky Way. I just gave it a try though, with several combinations, nothing worked:

Milky Way
milky way
milkyway
etc.

If only there was a Sumerian name for it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_names_for_the_Milky_Way

Edit: Nevermind, just found it. It's EN.LIL (http://www.lexiline.com/lexiline/lexi249.htm), but it doesn't work with any combination either.

I'm focusing all my energy on figuring these symbols out and we're really hitting on something with the elemental numbers that have been mentioned before. So this, I think, is what we need to crack:

That last one really does seem to correlate with this symbol from Hellenic physics::

But I just can't get my head around the top image in the login screen. One other thing I will say is that the fact that Weyland lays out seven verticals (and why the word 'verticals') may have some kind of connection with the Seven Chakras. It's the only other place where I can find a list of seven relating to elements (plus my own interpretation of how they relate to the verticals, feel free to dispute them). They are:

Sahasrara (Crown): Thought/Space - CYBERNETICS
Ajńa (Third Eye): Light/Dark - SECURITY
Vishuddhi (Throat): Ether/Sound - ELECTRONICS
Anahata (Heart): Air - TRANSPORTATION
Manipura (Navel): Fire - ENERGY
Svadhisthana (Sacral): Water - HEALTH
Muladhara (Root): Earth - TERRAFORMING

FWIW. On the PP password page, If you hold mouse button down and place the cursor at the bottom of the screen, the logo will scroll to the top of the screen.. looks like something is meant to go below it.. Not much I know, but it is there.
