 		I wonder if the numbers on the element table relate to the cosmic call destinations somehow.

it mentions some call destinations haven't been discovered yet, weird considering they should have hit in the 2040s and it's now the 2070s. I guess it's referring to returned calls.

 		New guy here joining in as well, only found you guys today... your effort is astounding to be frank!

Been trying to find connections within the periodic system they use, namely putting the elements in order according to various parameters - least rare, most rare, spelling errors, things that are real/fictuitous, haven't struck so far.

I did however notice, that no matter how I arranged the abbreviated elements, it'd always end up sounding almost like an aztec city name, to take grendizers example, "Ax Ct Et Pc Oc Zx Tx Ho", the structure of the aztec words/city names look a lot like it (axctetpcoczxtxho has a few too many consonants, but still).

I then revisited the trailer, and noticed that another place ancient tablets related to Prometheus had been found, were Mayan, but located in Teotihuacân - an Aztec city. Historical research glitch probably, but will dig around a bit for aztec city names or other aztec stuff (perhaps a parallel mythos to prometheus) that could give a hint.

Otherwise, I think the whole Orion lead looks quite promising.

Now that I've gone ahead and delurked, I just want to take a minute to thank EVERYONE for a really amazing group effort, which is what I truly believe this and other viral/ARG/transmedia campaigns are. While I love puzzles, it's the group/community created during ARGs that keeps me coming back.

I've lurked here on and off for some time (and even posted a little, way back during TLE, though I've lost access to that user ID). I can't always access unforum from work, so I don't get to check back here unless I have a little free time. Twitter is sometimes just faster/easier, especially from work.

I didn't mean to ruffle any feathers or take any sort of credit for anything anyone else came up with and don't think I have -- this truly was a group effort. I tweeted my thanks to GuestUser17 (since it was her posts/tweets that got me to back to /eridu) and agree with what thebruce posted about working as a team, and congratulating all who helped.

I had initially googled "star 245409" when the link from the corporate timeline went up, which lead me to HD 245409 / Gliese 208/ Orion/ Cosmic Call 2, etc. but had hit what I thought was a dead end trying PWs on that /245409 site.

I stumbled upon the /eridu page sometime SUN. I had been googling the ancient civilizations from the trailer which lead me to the Sumerian Creation Myth wiki page where the phrase "Then kingship descends from heaven..." was used and seemed familiar. Googling that phrase got me to Sumerian King List wiki with "After the kingship descended from heaven, the kingship was in Eridug." That seemed so oddly familiar but I couldn't place it until I remembered GuestUser17's tweet (of the translation of the French from the **WEYLAND message) the night before. I first tried eridu/eridug/gligamesh as PW on the /245409 page, but then (in a bit of desperation, really) tried /eridu and was surprised to see it was another login page.

At this point, I though I was either crazy or had cracked something new, but I finally had a minute to check in here and saw that SevenSonicStructures had already posted about /eridu about an hour before so I just figured I was behind (as is so often the case).

Realizing "eridu" had to mean something I tried ALL KINDS of related PWs with no luck (eridu, eridug, gilgamesh, kinggilgamesh, TellAbuShahrain, AbuShahrain, eridu coords, epsiloneridani, etc) . I had very little time MON/TUES, so kept searching/trying different PWs on both sites when I had a couple minutes here and there with no luck. I figured someone would crack it before I had any real time to take another look anyway.

It wasn't until last night that I finally had a chunk of time to sit down and try again. I saw @Prometheus_UK's tweet with the Pleiades pic so initially drove myself batty trying star names/designations/coords, etc. Then I went through all the stars Cosmic Call 2 was sent to, and finally went back to the Cosmic Call transmission itself. (I had tried so many variations of the Cosmic Call on FRI, and went through what I thought was all of them again. Who would've thought they'd use a single comma at the end that wasn't a part of the transmission as a required part of the password?!)

I finally checked back here late last night and saw that we'd all been trying similar things and it seemed like we were going in circles. I thought it was a good time to stop and take stock of what we had so far.

The fact that there were 2 login sites (and only the non-linked /eridu site with google analytics) seemed odd. Both 245409 & eridu must be clues, and until then, I'd figured the same PW would work on both pages. But what if that WASN'T THE CASE?!

That was what lead me to tweet @PromethuesMovie @Prometheus_UK specifically about the 2 login pages (and the **WEYLAND call/Sumerian King List relating to eridu) to see if I could tease a response out of them. I was surprised today when they actually did.

unforum has THE BEST creative thinkers and is better for in-depth discussion. Twitter is just easier and simpler for the PMs to follow (and is the quickest way to get a response from the PM's when we're ALL obviously stuck).

So congrats to everyone here and elsewhere that cracked Project Prometheus today. On to the next phase.

I am going to take a periodic table and overlay the discrepancies between the two. They gave us the atomic numbers for the mythological/oddball elements, which allows us to predict their appropriate places on the table of elements. However, elements with crazy atomic numbers, Carmot 219, should prove interesting to look at in relation to the rest of the table.

There are seven tablets, relating to seven settlements, not just Teotihuacan. other than the corresponding star map which was a clue for the previous puzzles, they dont seem to have much relevance at this point. I could of course be wrong.

My gut feeling at this point is something to do with the remaining cosmic call signals not received, and the odd table of elements. possibly even the orbs in the background moving, but nobody has produced any convincing leads for that, in my opinion.

We can all agree that's not a periodic table, right? Trying to map out some fantasy periodic table of elements is just over-thinking.

It's a cipher key. A number (or group of numbers) is equivalent to a letter (or group of letters).

Somewhere out there, maybe already, is a clue that consists of a bunch of numbers. We are supposed to substitute the letters. Like THEREALOWINN did to see "Y U Ta Ni"

With me? Okay. Where have we already seen a whole bunch of seemingly unnecessary numbers?

The timeline.
The patents.

Those have been bugging me all day and I've wondered if there were a pattern to them (primes? Fibbonacci?) But I suck at math.

But what if......

I may have stated that incorrectly...I don't mean to dismiss it as a joke. I saw how you placed those elements together to make a word and it struck a cord in me...or my funny bone. Or both. I thought how smart that was of you to do that and I had a chuckle of realization. I really should have said...Way To Go!

Nothing can be overlooked, and if someone has a hint or a suspicion, by all means check it out and report back.
