I noticed this too. And I'm with you.

I'm assuming that "Received" implies that a reply was received.
Just for the fact that all five Cosmic Calls should have already hit their destinations.

The problem, is that if you were to assume the same reply speed that the original messages were sent, only one of the replies would have been received by 2073.

Even taking the Project's launch date of 2081 into consideration, only two replies could have been received by that time.

Perhaps it's just an over-sight on the PMs parts.

Perhaps it's just presumptuousness to assume the transmission speeds of an alien race in a fictional universe.
But, it would be a bit unfair to base a puzzle off of a part of lore that there, very likely, isn't any canon for.

So, is this something? Or is it just sloppy lore work?



Yeah, I really cant figure out this bit. It doesnt make sense either way you interpret it. unless im not realizing something here...

I think it's old ground but what's been said about the "line" in the middle on the far left of the spheres video? There's a pulsing that can be seen if your screen is angled correctly and it's briefly amplified when the video loops.


I see it, I see some fluctuations in the white background. Those are accentuented and take on colors, kind of, at the end when the video "glitches". Might just be low quality in the color scheme or soemthing like that. Don't know nothing about photo/video. I'm a little better with audio...

Iìm looking for a way to extract eventual data hidden in video files, but that's not very conclusive.

Can't read the file so far with VLC or WMP, will keep trying.
When I play the video with Firefox however, right-click and select "View statistics", I see this

Analysed frames 526
Decoded frames 526
Presented frames 526
Reproduced frames 488

And I do NOT know if that means anything significant.

 		Looking at the mp4 version I'd say it goes all the way across, or at least is visible on the right as well. I think this has to go down as just a video glitch.

I di it again, this time the only difference was it gave me 508 reproduced frames.

I doubt it's any importance.

 		I'm wondering if the pictures we have are clues based around their setting or if not clues, they have a theme

I'm beginning to think the theme is elemental

we have also been looking at the cosmic call 2 which we have found 3/5...
so I'm assuming each call relates to an element. Also somebody mentioned that the Project Prometheus logo had a symbol that looked like it related to the five elements.

the elements are likely to be either Babylonian or Greek style if the themes are concurrent with what we have seen so far.

Babylonian Elementals
sea, earth, fire, sky, and wind

Greek Elementals
Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Aether (heavens, space etc)


I'll go with greek for now
Aether PICTURE 1 Star Maps




Air PICTURE 2 shows The Prometheus in the Sky



Earth PICTURE 2 shows the Prometheus crew landed on the surface



I think the next two images will relate to water and fire and I also think that once we have all five we will unlock something cool, just like in The 5th Element

 		In the module 2.5 fact sheet, it says there are 837.43M employees total, but 619.698M (Earth-based) + 217.73M (off-world) = 837.228M. Where are the other .202M?

 		Sorry for disturbing, but do you try only 'projectprometheus.com' URLs?

First mystery led to 'weylandindustries.com/6EQUJ5'. Second was 'projectprometheus.com/245409', 'projectprometheus.com/eridu' was just a lucky guess. What if we should look for another 'weylandindustries.com' URL? I think it's worth to try both URLs, just in case. Btw 'projectprometheus.com' is linked in the module 2, so if there are two mysteries following the Investor Information section, the first one could be placed on the company site.

Another good catch on the anomalies in the data! It makes it pretty cut and dry - those on earth, and those not. It doesnt say those on earth, those on terraformed planets, those on ships etc - so another curious random number.

I'm just imagining the folks working on this are both amazed and frustrated with what we catch, based on the sheer number of "Corrections" we've seen! And to that, i say - Good Work Team! Very Happy

Funny you should say that, have you seen how Noomi is dressed in some of the clips Wink Anyway - that's my theory. Water is also highlighted in the elemental part of the chart. Hmmm

I like the theory but I think that the highlighting is just the key indicating that water is neither a mineral or a fuel.

The ogv file has strange behavior at the end of it. I think its a glitch as well, but its not possible here to do a proper frame advance in the last 5% of the file.
