Any update on this?
Essentially, I had a similar conversation.. except I kind of got sarcastic in which case he never mentioned sending me anything until I questioned why he has offered to send to others.
He mentioned Simon and Kayla and a bunch of other broken messages that made no sense.

I said to him/her "Look, I must know the truth and I must understand whom Simon and Kayla are.
I know the internet is too risky for sending such information..
The mail? A letter perhaps?"

To which I got the response "The United States Postal Service",
to which I responsed bluntly "What about the USPS?"

He/she responded "They are one in the same."

I said "They who..?
You just referred to the USPS as "they" being one in the same."

He/she last said "The truth will be sent to you free of charge through USPS. All I need is your address."

..not sure if this is a bad or good idea?

I asked him why he told others it could take years for it to get to them, how do i know its not a terrible idea to send him my address etc.
He said this

"I believe you'll just have to trust us on this one. We are in no way harmful people, and we are not able to travel to where you live. I have too strong of morals to use your address for anything malicious.

Second, I believe the person I told that to is a resident of a foreign nation. As such, it costs much more to send overseas than it does to send domestically. For them, it could take years. The reason being that I must focus on spending for my own survival and focus on trying to help others second. How were you able to know what I said to him, I must ask.

Uh.. Okay. I emailed him twice asking why he has not replied, and when my package will arrive naturally, because i want to make sure hes not just running off with my address. I was very polite and simple. This is what they said;

He really just fucks around. He never gives direct answers.
